As an Acorr member, as I used to travel frequently around Western Europe, I have now used this hotel for the last three years for my Christmas visit to my family near Bingley and the member rate is extremely good value for me and my son, who lives in Norfolk.

We've stayed at the Bankfield before as it's very convenient for us. As always, the staff are lovely and welcoming and the quality of the breakfast is great. However, this year our room was very cold. We'd been supplied with a portable heater as the main radiator was broken but it wasn't really enough to heat the whole room adequately. I think the hotel was very busy this year as there was a wedding on Boxing Day, otherwise we would have asked to move to another room.

Terrible night

So I had booked a family room and received a room with one double bed, 2 singles pushed together. There was a dog barking all night, also a drip from the radiator all night. Pretty disgusted! Taking extra money for the family room and give me a standard room is bad enough nevermind everything else on top.
