The room was brilliant - large, great furnishings, very clean, very comfy bed and nice touches like coffee machine and DAB radio. However no control over individual lamps was quite annoying, and only plug socket only on one side of the bed. Being on the 1st floor there was lots of noise from bar below in the afternoon, and in the night the fridge light flickered relentlessly so had to be switched off at the mains. Would definitely stay here again - a really good hotel with really good value room prices.

Reception welcome was warm and friendly yet professional and information provided was helpful. First impression of our executive room was good, as we looked around we noted only one normal tea bag and one sachet if coffee (this was not so concerning as there was a coffee machine. There should have been slippers and robes in the room which were not present, this was a pain as we hadn’t taken our own. One of the pillowcases was inside out and looked grubby. After taking a shower the floor beside the bed was soaking wet. We paid £12 each for breakfast, the sign on the front desk advertised breakfast at £10 each, breakfast was cleared away very quickly and no one asked if we were finished before clearing away, we had but it would of been good to have been asked. On reporting room issues to reception they provided more tea and coffee but no robes or slippers. The location was great for where we were going but over all the experience was marred by these issues, especially as we have stayed at several Novotel’s previously. Disappointing, not sure we would use again.

Stay here around 3 times a year reception are amazing helpful and polite can not do enough for you, shame I cannot say the same about the bar manager gave me a warm bottle of prosecco asked 3 times for a cold bottle he kept saying it will cool down in the ice book I disagreed with him but he insisted he was right I eventually went to ask him for a chilled bottle this was half an hour later (still warm) so he gave me a free drink which was nice of him but not what i wanted . Went to reception they went to speak to the bar manager reception also gave me a voucher for 2 free drinks which all i wanted was a chilled bottle will not order it again very very disappointing

Novotel Leeds Centre is my favorite hotel when we stay in Leeds: 1. good location, walking distance from railway station, and quiet. 2. simple and modern hotel. 3. good full English breakfast. After two year time when we did not back to Leeds, it looked that they renovated renovated inside intensively. It was OK, but we felt something different from what we knew (it does not imply something bad, just difference). One question was that we requested a room with bathtub in advance, but it was not provided. Although we did not ask why, but what was the reason? 1. Our plan was too basic to get it. 2. With the interior renovation, the hotel no longer has rooms with bathtub?

My wife, our older daughter, and I, spent four memorable days at this city-centre hotel, over the christmas break. We had a great stay here on December 27th when the 3 of us came to Leeds to do some post Christmas sale shopping. Its a lovely, modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff and great facilities. Pretty close to the centre of Leeds and great for the train station too. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs which looked great but we didn't use (only for breakfast on the morning) The room was great, comfy bed and nice and cosy. Nice large telly on the wall and a good selection of channels. We also loved the fact that the toilet is actually separate from the bathroom!! We got the room on a very good price and we're so glad we chose it. Oh yes and breakfast was wonderful. So much choice and can take what you want to eat. Lots of juice to choose from, fresh fruit, continental and full English choices too. Even loaves you can cut yourself. Overall a fab, friendly place to stay. Hope to stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Room was very nice, clean and no faults at all. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of nice food. Now for the bad bit, the bar was like a creche in a rowdy pub with club volume music. Kids running everywhere screaming and shouting whilst the parents ignored them The adults were hardly any better, many had obviously drunk too much and were very loud All this against a background of banging music, awful. Not where you would want to relax after a day out seeing the sights. We went out to a nice bar up the road (The Brew Society) Even one member of staff mentioned in passing how wild the kids were, that was without any prompting. We regularly use Accor hotels and have never encountered anything like this in their other hotels. Will not stay here again or recommend it to anyone else.
