Room was lovely but a black staff member on nights and early breakfast shift took a delight in misgendering trans,non binary and intersex people by using the word sir which is transphobic bigotry and the black gentleman with the greying beard had a surly and agressive attitude

I was too tired to mention at the time, but there was a smell of urine between the bed and the bathroom as if someone had had an accident and it hadn’t been cleaned up properly. When I turned the TV on it wasn’t working, something to do with signal. I slept on the other side of the room and just went to sleep but overall put me off staying there again. The room was otherwise clean and comfy

Horrendous stay. Uncomfortable bed, mattress and sheets. No sleep whatsoever for myself and my pregnant wife

Fine hotel, decent room, not too far from the centre of Leeds. We arrived a bit early hoping to either store our bags or, if a room was ready by that point, put our things away and freshen up in there. The trainee on reception informed us there were plenty of clean rooms but that there was a £10 early check in fee - this felt a bit cheap. A more experienced member of staff noticed that the trainee was preparing to take our bags to the luggage room, they asked "are there no clean rooms" and received a response about the early check in fee. The other staff member rolled their eyes and left it at that. No big deal, but did reinforced our view of Ibis being quite stingy. Separately, there is a £2 fee per bag to leave your bags after check out - again, would be free as standard at most other hotels.

Recently, I've been travelling back-and-forth between Manchester and Hull, regularly making stops in Leeds to do a big of shopping and sightseeing. I've stayed at a few hotels in the city centre by now, however, I keep coming back to the ibis Leeds Centre Marlborough Street for a wealth of reasons. The staff are highly accommodating, friendly and warm. The rooms are clean, quiet and well-kept. The location is conveniently located near the heart of the city centre, offering a spacious and relatively peaceful setting yet within walking distance of the best that the area has to offer. And all of this at such great value. Make no mistake, I'll be returning shortly.

Location was good for us, although a fair walk into the centre but there are plenty of buses and taxis seemed easy to get. Rooms were a little tired but perfectly comfortable and clean. Nice to be able to open the window although on a busy road it was quite noisy from the traffic at times. Bed was comfortable, shower was great and one of the best toilet flushes I've come across. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Good place to use for a short stay base.

The Hotel is just a 10 minute walk from Leeds Railway Station. The check-in process was a breeze & my room was clean & tidy. The breakfast service was fantastic & all the staff that I spoke to were all very helpful.
