Worst dinning experiance i've had in a hotel!

After travelling for 3 hours for business I expected to sit down for some dinner and have a relaxing evening. It was far from it. After ordering my bar food at 7.30 I waited for almost an hour for a beef burger, when I challenged the bar staff about where my meal was after an hour, between two staff they disputed what had happened prior to just sorting the problem, the missing food. My meal finally arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes in total. I debated whether to order a pudding or not, but I thought I'd give the benefit of doubt, mistakes happen and its how you deal with it that matters. When I ordered my pudding I made a comment about how long it was likely to take to come, I was told 2 to 3 minutes. I thought great. So I sat down again, on the same table, number 4 and waited. 5 minutes passed and I thought, that's a bit odd, I was told it would be a few minutes, and considering my earlier experience I would have expected someone to make sure they stuck to this commitment. I started a timer, a further 20 minutes pass, at which point I'd had enough. I approached a lady in a small office who I assumed to be the Manager, explained the chain of events, expressed my dissatisfaction. She reimbursed me for my drinks for the evening and apologised. When she came back with my refund she said she had checked the kitchen and there was no sign of my pudding and did I want her to sort it. I declined as I'd had enough at this point. Not once during my 2.5 hour dinning experience did anyone ask if everything was ok, was my meal ok etc etc. The limited members of the bar staff seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves.

I did not particularly Tate the room, it needed decorating. Enamel was coming off the bath, rusty patches. The shower screen was awkward to use (wrong way round)? Bed pretty comfortable, decent pillows.

Positive: Room was nice. Staff were all friendly. Setting was lovely. Negative: Black mould on the bathroom ceiling (not just a little bit - a lot). Hot breakfast was not hot. Fried eggs were cold. The rest was luke warm.

everything was pleasant enough, a couple of issues namely the last of thermostat in the room to control the temperature and also a water preasure issue where the shower would pulsate from hot to cold but apart from those issues, it's very nice.
