I was shocked that this was an Accor hotel it wants knocking down it is such a poor state of repair

The hotel stay was as needed. Room clean and comfortable. There were times we couldn't open the window as the location of our room faced onto an outdoor seating area where people were smoking and this was really unpleasant. The corridors are tired, carpets worn and grubby. I noticed parking charges have been introduced and some hotels do carry this charge but always a blow when there's additional fees. Breakfast was ok but items needed replenishing quicker. Some of the continental stale. Overall the room was good, the functionality of the hotel served its purpose.
