The restaurant is NOT open in the evening despite what the advertising continues to say. The main reason I had booked! Dismal lighting in the room. Bring a torch if you want to read in bed. The bathroom and facilities are rather dated. Staff are friendly but unable to respond to simple problems.

Had a great stay at The Harlow Hotel – even better than my last visit! The room was spotless, the bed super comfy, and the staff were so welcoming. Really impressed with the improvements. Highly recommended! We had the burgers from the menu-excellent

I recently stayed at The Harlow Hotel with my family. It was without doubt the most relaxing and stress free stay we have had while travelling with our children. The bedrooms were spotless and the staff very accommodating and welcoming, making my children feel special with their warm welcomes. We will definitely be staying again when in the area

Love the staff. You can see everyone working there is doing their best. Tasty food and comfy setting. Beds are extremely comfy and rooms are superb clean.The hotel is close to shops and is in a prime location. We will be back for another visit because it is so affordable.

We arrived and were greeted by a very rude lady who seemed to be put out to serve us. My friend asked where the bin was, she rolled her eyes and pointed. He couldn’t see it, so she proceeded to question him very rudely. He had missed the bin, but there was no need for the attitude. The young guy on the bar was much nicer. I did feel sorry for him as the hotel was completely out of beer and this made for some grumpy workers who were staying on site. Our flight was early the next morning; we left the hotel with plenty of time to arrive, which was lucky as due to the receptionist being so fast asleep that he couldn’t hear us knocking, we couldn’t actually leave the hotel. Thank god that this wasn’t an emergency as we had to Tttact attention from someone outside to go and knock loudly on the office window so that we could be let out.
