When we arrived the reception stunk of weed place looked dirty and was cold we checked in went to our room and checked back out again, room was dirty, bed was dirty room was in poor state ! When we went to reception to ask for refund and we would be checking out the receptionist didn’t even ask why or offer us a different room just said someone would be in touch from reservations for the refund since then I have called twice and still nothing back !

Now this brand is letting me down again. As if it wasn’t bad enough last week in Wolverhampton. This week I’ve had another hotel let down from Accor hotels. I’m thinking this hotel is a rebranded site to accors group as I’ve not seen it offered before. However they have again let me down on quality. The room comfort and staff were very good. Problem was no heating in the room. Apparently 3 days prior to my arrival ( and many others) they had an issue with the heating system. And we’re awaiting a part. Would it of hurt to let the paying guest know of the issue. While I went to the restaurant for an evening meal I went via the reception to advise I had no heating. The receptionist apologised and offer to put a extra duvet in the room. I replied although not ideal it would be acceptable for the night I was staying. Had a lovely meal in a nice warm/heated bar/restaurant. Think I should have brought my PJ’s with me and bedded down. Got back to the room and no duvet. Never did turn up. Only other thing to complain about is this hotel is no included in the Accor rewards. Why is that. ???

The hotel communal areas were very cold( no heating) except the bar area. The gents toilet smelt like something had died in it and this was noticeable outside the toilet area as well as inside! Dinner was a fiasco with meals turning up far too late and wrong. Most people were offered refunds or free drinks as a result. The hotel is generally very tired and desperately in need of a refurbishment. Faulty Towers was the was most guests seemed to be describing it as!! On the plus side the room was adequate although one of the windows were broken and almost falling out when opened and the bathroom was very tired but the room was generally clean and warm unlike the rest of the hotel! The only saving grace were the staff who were excellent and tried their utmost to keep guests happy despite being obviously understaffed most of the time. They really couldn't do enough to try and help you out and make up for the problems. If the hotel was of the quality of its staff and there were more of them employed the hotel would be very good indeed If it wasn't for the staff I would definitely not even consider returning again

We booked for two nights to explore Harlow's sculpture trail and was pleased with the hotels location and free parking. The check-in was a delight and informative but without any town leaflets / guides? We were then very disappointed with the decor in the public spaces and feared for our room, however this was short lived as the room was bigger than an 'Ibis' standard and clean / fresh, with big windows and A/C. We were further delighted with the breakfast (superb) and adjacent pool / spa facilities. In brief, satisfied to pleased.

Check in/out friendly and efficient. Corridors appear to have been recently re-carpeted, but rooms a little tired and require updating. Bathroom clean and tidy, but again showing age. Shower very weak water pressure. Overall, reasonable for the price, but would not recommend at higher pricing point.

Couldn't work out how to turn bedside lights on, tiny switch. Even when they were on, the room was still very dark. Heating did not work. Breakfast was late being served and when served a lot of the the 'hot food' was cold. Corridor smelt of damp and cigerettes Hotel in obvious sign of need of TLC

On check in went to room and it was so cold the heating was not working, mentioned it to reception and was told it should be on later this was at 1400 hrs. We left the hotel to go to a function and return to the hotel at 2330hrs and the heating was still not working and we were told that the staff could not fix the heating. We were so cold could not take a shower as it was so cold and had to sleep with are clothes on. It would have been warmer if we slept in our car. NOT HAPPY

I got to the hotel where I saw staff smoking on arrival, checked in. Went to room 203 to be greeted by many intoxicated teenagers in the corridors, cigarettes on the floors in the hallways and general waste in the hotels building. I was in my room for 30 mins with clear music playing in the next room and drugs being taken openly. I went back down to change rooms to 131. In that room I had lights not wotking and a bathroom not cleaned properly. Being very tired I went to the restaurant for a quick dinner before going to bed, I ordered a burger and waited 30mins for it to arrive, it came burnt and so I sent it back, a new one was cooked and it came back 40mins after returning it. I went to my room as I had an early start for a very important meeting the next day. Throughout the night I was woken by a strong smell of drugs in the corridors and loud shouting and banging at 12am,2am,3am,4.30am and policeman in the hotel removing aggressive people from rooms. I reported this first thing as I could not find anyone to report this to in the evening. I was told a manager would be contacting me to give a refund and explanation and refund. This has not happened. I will be expecting a refund and also compensation as I had to cancel my meeting which has caused a huge sum of money to be missed out on due to my inability to conduct it due to lack of sleep and general illness caused by the events of the stay. I will be seeking advice unless I am given a full refund and compensation. Kind regards, Beau

Hotel was lovely. But heating didn’t work.

Staff were friendly but I complained both in person and by email about our meal, my husbands gravy had big lumps in it out £12 pizzas were supermarket budget pizzas. I was promised a reply and got none! Our meal cost £69 and was horrible! So I do feel mixed. The breakfast in the morning was good. The beds were comfortable.

Room was dated and tired, facilities were like something from the 1990’s, and although it looked like the hotel is going through some modernisation I was not made aware of this when booking. Poor night away in poor facilities. Staff were great though.

When we got there, we we’re given the room card and received no information about facilities, use of restaurant, check out time... when we got to our room it was very small room 119 and the decor looked tired. The tv was older then myself and the room didn’t have a clean feel. We went to the pool, where there were no lockers so had to bring our belongings to the pool side on a plastic chair. We then went back to our room for the shower to not be working. We called reception and was told that some rally team were in town and have used all the water and that there’s nothing they can do. So we couldn’t have a shower? We were also woken up by noisy visitors at around 2:30 running up and down the corridor. Overall the experience to was to that of a third world country. Atleast they can have a shower.

Room was of a good standard excellent breakfast Only minor gripe was bedroom window was screwed locked shut so no fresh air could get in. So room was a little stuffy thru the night.
