We got to our room opened the door and the first thing that hit us was the smell.....damp! The bathroom was ok but in dire need of a refurb a bit like the rest of the room! So we had just travelled over 300 miles and in need of a good sleep.....well that didn’t happen for the next three nights!! We had booked a double room and when we got there it was two single beds pushed together and the mattresses were so lumpy there was no chance they were going to be comfortable. In the morning both myself and my wife were in agony with our backs. We were only there due to an unexpected death in the family.......there definitely won’t be a next time.....Travelodge all the way!!!!

Hotel was great. It was very clean and a great location. The hotel is basic, but what more do you need. Great for being pet friendly.

The room is dated , in need of a refresh lick of paint, last week nails sticking out of my door and my tap sprayed water over me once it had been turned on. And needed to report it twice before anything was done about it. The food was poor quality and poorly cooked and went hungry every night. First night of week two and I'm in another room (next door to the one last week) and nails are sticking out of the door frame again.

Considering current climate, hotel does a good job. Evening meals very good and excellent portion size. Breakfast good value and again more than enough in the collected bag. Room was not tided overnight but I think because of COVID it’s restricted.

My experience was good the staff who it must be working for them where excellent, was greeted at a distance very warmly by the general manager. I wish all your staff my warmest respect, and hope that them and there families remain safe during these trying times.

Very pleasant and helpful staff who coped well dealing with a difficult situation (Covid-19 government restrictions). Rooms clean and well furnished.

the hotel looked abandoned and out dated, reception service poor, hotel rooms clean but out dated. breakfast service was terrible, no plates, knifes, forks or spoons. 2 men on breakfast duty seemed un interested to assist. My friend out the cheese which didn't look fresh and has been ill afterwards.

Me and my Partner stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. Both the morning and afternoon receptionists were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was nice and again the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Rooms basic but bed comfortable, shower nice and powerful. Temperature of room comfortable. Breakfast ok, could of been abit more variety and also more variety on the food menu in the bar.

For the price I paid it was average at best. The Hotel is tired and needs updating, to start with some atmosphere in the reception would help! My room was ok, clean and tidy and the breakfast very nice. Using the pool area felt a bit grubby and the pool needs a good clean out!

A large hotel on the very outskirts of Harlow. Good size and free car park. Hotel easy to find. But this hotel still requires refurbishments. Some work has been done, my floor had new carpet and rooms were of a good near to Accor standard. Not quite, still a little rough around the edges which a little bit more tlc is needed. Reception area too big and a little badly designed. Nobody on the desk when I arrived. No bell, had to wait for 5mins, then an helpful lady arrived. Breakfast of a very good standard, up to Accor levels. Again some refurbs needed, seats a little worn out.
