Everything met our needs apart from the ability to have a hot breakfast (but everything on offer was good apart from the haggis! As a Scot, it was awful and served on its own , luke warm and slightly hard would give any poor tourist a wrong impression. Ditch the haggis if you can't serve it properly. McSweens is definitely better than the one served.

Lovely hotel in great location. Close to train station and well positioned for exploring Edinburgh. Twin room was compact but very comfortable. Bathroom had a great shower. Breakfast was included and had everything you could ask for.
