I spent one night in the Ibis Styles at St. Andrews square (Wed-Thurs). The room 111 was an okay size. It was very cold and the split unit in the room was above the door and didn't warm the room adequately. Luckily, I don't like a very hot room so I was fine. But upon exiting the shower, the room felt cold! Also of note, the staff let us store our luggage on our return to Edinburgh the following Sunday, despite not staying there the night before. We were able to do some last minute sightseeing without having to drag our luggage all over. The breakfast is also very good. I had haggis for the first time and it was delicious with my eggs! Overall, a comfortable stay and great staff!

We had a 3 night stay and found the hotel clean and the staff very friendly. We had a queen room which was a sufficient size for us and offered the normal amenities expected. We went for the breakfast included package and so glad we did, the breakfast being offered as a continental breakfast. The breakfast offered a large selection of food and was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. We did have an evening meal on our first night and this was dissapointing, not a great deal of choice and tasted as if it was a freezer meal. We would definately reccommend this hotel, in fact we already have to a family member.
