one night stay. room very nice and bar area clean and well kept. staff friendly and helpful. have to pay for parking which isn't ideal and wait for food was long considering there were only 3 people in the restaurant

Super comfortable rooms. Nice bar and restaurant. Bath is a bit high to get into! TV signal was faulty and has been on both of my stays here.

I came to Leicester to meet family and take a rest arrived in the hotel very late at 2 am after family dinner unfortunately at 8 am ( Saturday which is weekend ) ) they started maintenance work making a loud noise on the 1st floor they gave me a room on 2nd floor. I called reception and requested them that I and my family are very tired it's too early on Saturday to take this noise. The first-time lady was very polite and said no worries I will inform them. After 45 min I called them again an Indian Gentleman who said he was lobby manager took my call and started talking about hotel rights that we have rights to work bla bla I told him I am not asking about your rights and my rights or anything about Law. I have paid for my room to come and take rest and this noise is disturbing me. In the place of apologizing and making me understand that he will be doing everything to reduce inconvenience, he wanted to argue, he was too rude. I told him if you guys had information about this work why you did not give room on the upper floor. anyhow people like him and put in risk reputation of the hotel I told him I will write a review about what he did his response was again negative he said do what you want it does not make any difference to me.

Fresh new hotel with teething issues.

Hotel was nice and fresh and staff were friendly and keen to help, small criticisms or teething issues, the fire escape map on the back of my room door was for the wrong floor. I am sure they are all the same but still listing was incorrect. One of the fire doors in the corridor was tight in its frame and required often a good shoulder barge to open it. Floor lamp in room would buzz when off sounded like electrical arc so I kept it unplugged, sink in bathroom contemporary design but impractical, can’t fill sink basin with water no plug so can’t shave wasteful in water and can’t fit kettle under the tap. Breakfast was inconsistent with the cooking sometimes fine sometimes soggy, limited choices.

Straightforward check in, and the room was clean and modern. a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. Self-service breakfast was standard for type of hotel, cooked items were all fresh and hot. Only minor observation was I hadn’t realised there was an additional £10 charge for parking - this could have been clearer. Overall a good overnight stay.

Good location, very nice rooms with modern settings. The bed was large and comfortable, the breakfast was good and filling with a lot of different variety. Shower was nice but there was no lock or fully closing door, there was always a small slit to see through which made it a bit strange.

The TV channels were not working almost throughout my whole stay. When the TV channels were briefly working they played BBC West Midlands when in fact we are in BBC East Midlands (ie Leicester)

Arrived late on the Sunday and the gentleman on reception was most helpful. The room was a little cold but the weather was particularly horrific! Lovely modern room with everything required. No channels coming up on the TV but as I was in bed I didn't call reception for assistance- was unsure if this was related to signal due to the unusual weather. Loved the public spaces, very bright and spacious. Meeting facilities were great as was the catering throughout the stay.

The staff at the hotel were great, my only issues I had were the car parking, I had to drive around 3 times before I could find it. Better signage would be a must. The TV in the bedrooms didn't work for the whole time I stayed. Dinner was ok but breakfast and lunch were great. The AV in the meeting room didn't work very well. It is a beautiful hotel and once it is completely sorted it will be a great place to stay.
