I chose this hotel because of my previous great experience with ibis Styles in Edinburgh, so I arrived with similar expectations for comfort and overall quality. Unfortunately, my stay did not meet those expectations. The bed was not comfortable and caused back pain during the night, and the room had an unpleasant smell when I first entered, which made the initial impression disappointing. The biggest issue, however, was the extremely low water pressure in the shower. It was so weak that it was difficult to take a proper shower. In addition, the air conditioning unit may need servicing, as it was making a strange bubbling noise during my stay. I also found the breakfast selection quite limited compared with other ibis hotels I have stayed in. That said, the hotel’s location is very convenient, which I appreciated. I would also like to thank the manager at checkout who noticed that I had been overcharged and corrected it promptly. Because of the location and the manager’s assistance, I would rate the stay a 4/10 overall. However, due to the discomfort from the bed and the shower issue, I decided to check out earlier than planned. I hope this feedback can help improve the experience for future guests.
