We love The Mercure! Such a good location and so lovely and clean! The breakfast is the best ever! Staff are so lovely! Don’t hesitate get it booked!

This hotel is definitely not a 4 star,only thing going for it is it's location,room needs upgraded,chairs worn,beds were on castors which moved when you sat on them,not good if you have children,yea bedding was clean.As for the staff ,Not impressed at all,Bar person totally ignored us when we approached,no welcome or hello,then decided to say won't be a minute and went away,only 2 others were in the place,The only member of staff that greeted us was at Breakfast,very polite and attentive,so Katrina deserves the mention, the rest of the hotel definitely needs a revamp,carpets worn, seating needs renewed and lift needs a good clean,won't be back

Oddly my room had a bit of a hill from the desk area to the bed area which threw me off for the first night. The shower was really delightful but the glass shower screen did not keep any water off of the floor so that was a bit of a slipping hazard.

There was a problem making the TV work efficiently. There were no clear instructions for the coffee machine. Otherwise the room was very pleasant. I would use this hotel again.

I didn’t enjoy my stay due to the noise coming from the other room late at night-I could hear what they were talking pretty clearly and couldn’t stop laughing loudly, the sink was not draining well- I Informed the lady cleaner about it but still nothing was done, I was not provided with a dressing gown, again I have to ask from the lady cleaner to provide me with one. The only thing I liked was the breakfast which comes quite handy. Not many choices but at least it’s okay.
