Overall a good experience yet room for improvements. Parts of the hotel, especially in the room and in the restaurant, we're looking quite tired. Loo roll extremely cheap, which, in my opinion leaves room for thought of what else has been skimped on. Every member of staff that I interacted with were really friendly and helpful 🙂

The hotel is looking rather tired but the staff were all so friendly and helpful they keep the place going they are a credit overall an enjoyable stay and the room allocated was an updgrade I think and it was lovely so thank you

Hotel is well located and public area was spotless. Interaction with staff was all positive. As they seemed to be friendly and respectful. Receptionist in morning was very helpful, and assisted in printing a very important document for me. However there was more negatives than positives. On arrival we asked for food, and was told no chef, so kit food available to us. Room this stay was very dated and was in need of a freshen up. Minor repairs had been done to a poor standard. Water pressure was poor for the shower, although it was hot enough. No hot buffet breakfast in the morning. Although there was plenty of cereal, toast, etc. Hot food order was taken by one of the team, and brought out to the table. But unfortunately this was not freshly cooked. It had been sitting under the hot plate, Black pudding was rock hard, sausages over done on one side probably due to hot plate. Beans look warm, and bacon again dry from hot plate. I will be staying again in a few weeks time, so this trip did not discourage me from using the hotel.
