Following the cancellation of my booking at Novotel Manchester west for 18-20 April by you I change to the Mercure Bolton as its website said a pool was available and I thought it would be a treat. It was disappointing to find there was no pool.

Very nice stay, the room was a good size, friendly welcome (well it it is Lancashire) food was good, breakfast was hot and well cooked. Only one night stay.

The booking app showed that there was a swimming pool and the rooms looks more modern in the photos. No pool and very dated rooms
