Third stay. As Platinum Accor members we are entitled to a one room upgrade, subject to availability. Denied upgrade yet again despite Accor app showing availability for next category. Usual mumbo jumbo about availabilty restrictions. To be balanced, we asked for a late check out and, after some confusion about being charged, we were given a complimentary late check out. Breakfast was lack lustre. Both coffee machines were out of service. When i pointed this out to an extremely rude staff member, she asked me what had i done to the machines. She then walked off.Amazingly poor attitude which was reflected throughout the restaurant in the evening and the morning. Evening meals are ridiculously expensive and bar drinks are eye wateringly overpriced. A consistent factor with this hotel is the poor management ( read invisible) which, amongst other failings allows for apathetic staff attitudes. The only time I have witnessed a manager in action was when the restaurant manager instructed a staff member to tell us not to eat our overpriced pizza at the otherwise empty bar. We were told to take it to our room to eat. What sort of deranged policy results in guests being admonished for eating hotel food in the hotel? Final piece of advice, The Holiday Inn is better located, better priced and the management and staff do not appear to bear a lasting grudge against guests .

The hotel is perfectly located. The food was probably the best food I have ever had in an airport hotel. Well decorated etc - really nice and best price around.

Staff are friendly and professional. Full English breakfast was very good. There was difficulty in connecting my notebook to the wi-fi and the wi-fi signal was not very strong in the room.
