Excellent location for T2. Room was clean and as expected. It’s small but you don’t need a suite for a few hours sleep before a flight. Bar area was good but absolutely freezing. Meal was ok, we didn’t get our desert as part of the meal deal and were told we couldn’t have a refund or waive the service change, but could take the desert as takeout. Wasn’t bothered about the desert but annoyed at having to pay service charge. That said, I would recommend this hotel and stay here again for any T2 flights.

I stayed for 6 nights as I was working close by. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good, although the coffee machines were slow.

The hotel in general was great, check in staff were friendly. Room was clean and there were tea and coffee making facilities. However the rooms are not so well insulated, i heard people upstairs and in the corridor outside, i understand there isn't so much the hotel can do about that but for some people its important. Another thing i would add as a hotel in England (Northern England for that ;) ) The lack of a proper mug (not a coffee cup) or a teapot was dissapointing.
