I have stayed at the Ibis Hotel Bridgwater several times & the experience just seems to get better. The staff are very attentive & helpful, the rooms are very comfortable & the quality of food in the restaurant goes way beyond that of a standard Ibis.

Used for this hotel for a one-night stopover as it provided quick and easy access from the M5. There was plenty of parking when we arrived. The team on reception were welcoming and efficient. Rooms are stylish, minimalist and well thought out. Everywhere was beautifully clean. Ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Food was fine. Good bar and spacious, comfortable lounge area were great to await others in our party who were arriving later.

Unfortunately when we checked in we had to queue outside because the Reception desk was situated right in front of the automatic doors. We were given a room that had not been cleaned which was very off putting. We had to wait in the room with our cases until another room was found for us. The staff apologised and we were given a complimentary glass of wine each. We found the room to be very austere and cold looking but the bed was fantastically comfortable, we slept well and the shower room was top quality. The dining room was not very warm. Several people were wearing jackets. The meal and wine were very good and breakfast was good. Overall a mixed stay but it was for one night only.

Minkerbell Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

Comfortable beds set out as twins, when we made the gap larger it was obvious the floor hadn't seen a hoover. Because we made a larger gap it made the space between the bed and the desk area tight. If we hadn't made a gap we might just as well have had a double bed. We are brother and sister so a gap was required. I don't like the polished concrete walls. It may be fashionable but it looked unfinished. If you need to put a QR code on the wall to be explain the bare walls is must tell you something. These points let our stay down. The staff were excellent and the beds comfortable. The cleaner could do with vacuum cleaner instructions.

No replenished towels tea or coffee had to ask lady behind bar rude not helpful on the plus side meals were very good if a bit pricey
