We arrived and we were checked in promptly and with a smile. We went up to our room and found there was a lack in some items in the room which would’ve helped for example: drawers, cupboards or somewhere to hang your coat and bag when you come into the room. The bathroom was lovely and had everything we needed and the shower pressure was brilliant. The bed was extremely comfy and we both slept very well. At breakfast however is when standards started to slip. We were checked in for breakfast, there was only one toaster which led to extremely long lines and wasn’t easy to make breakfast. The food in general was okay but the bacon just tasted like butter. Nothing was restocked so once it was gone, it was gone. We had no condiments and the coffee machines had packed up and weren’t actually working properly. You would put the coffee cup under and the machine would spit all the milk and the coffee out at boiling temperatures which was extremely dangerous. And after attempting to make one coffee I had gone back to make another and all of the coffee drinks were unavailable. Service just seemed generally really slow and we had breakfast twice and both times were a disappointment for the price you pay.

The reception staff are amazing and all the other staff were lovely as well. Rooms and linen very basic. Obviously there to service the travelling salesman.

Spent three nights at this hotel. Mealtimes were shambolic, cutlery not stocked. Had to eat bacon with a spoon and a knife. Breakfast items not replenished. Coffee machines not stocked and out of coffee and milk! Not enough staff and service was terrible. Never again.

We booked this hotel as part of a business trip as the rest of the businesses attending the event stayed here, the room decoration is not great i understand its decorated like it for a reason however the grey walls just made it look like there was mould and water dripping down the walls, both mornings for breakfast there was very little variety, we stayed for about 30-45 minutes and it wasnt topped up at all. There was no bread/croissants/ fruit other than oranges or any yogurt one morning which was really shocking. The evening food was lovely. As we were leaving we were told it couldn't be charged to our room (which we were told it would be and we would pay at the end of our stay) so we paid for dinner and told them we had breakfast that morning out of pure honesty so paid for that too. We then paid for the next days breakfast on top of that so there was no issue the next day. The next day we were then asked by the same person to pay for breakfast again even though we paid for breakfast the previous night. The parking fee was a bit steep considering there is no where else to park. The air-con worked fine in our room, the shower was pretty powerful. But the beds and pillows were rock solid unfortunately :(
