I stayed on the evening of 27th Nov prior to an early hospital appointment and surgical procedure the next day. Upon checking in I filled out the registration form where I was asked for my car reg number. At this time I wasn’t informed that there was a separate system to enter my car registration number into. Upon checking out in the morning I noticed signs for vehicle registration number to be registered on the system. I approached a member of staff and informed that I had just seen these signs and not been advised to separately check my vehicle in upon checking in the previous night. His response was “you will be getting £100 fine then” and simply carried on doing what he was doing. I clearly had been an overnight guest, but was offered no help or assistance to have this oversight corrected and the fine cancelled on the system. Your staff are not advising guests of the need to check vehicles in separately to avoid a fine from a separate parking company when staying at the hotel and simply do not seem to care. Very poor customer service. I now await the additional cost (fine) for choosing to stay at your hotel which could have easily been avoided had your staff been more customer focused. I have a number of further appointments in the near future but will not be staying at your hotel. Staff training very much needed.

Good room large room, comfortable bed, clean, Too long a wait at reception in a busy bar area is not a good welcome, very uncomfortable pillows.

We stayed here as we had a convert in Bradford, and the price was attractive. Lots of parking and a bust stop out the front is handy, which can get you into Bradford directly and busses are frequent. Reception was fine, a little small but it did the job. The hallways smelled strange, maybe an old/damp smell but it wasn't too bad. As we got out the lift at the top floor there was an obvious water leak which had been there some time as it looked mouldy, not a good look. Room was again fine, a little dated but clean and the hallways smell wasn't present in the rooms which was good. Sink had an old style plug drain which I personally am not a fan of, as you can see down into the dirty drain (unavoidable, but new style drains hide this). Easy checkout, didn't have breakfast.
