The hotel is definitely in need of some TLC. Very tired in places which is a shame. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

We have stayed many times before and always appreciate the friendly staff and the comfortable surroundings. This time our trip was marred somewhat on two evenings by noisy guests from a coach party in adjoining rooms which meant we didn't have restful sleep on those evenings.

There was a small electric heater but not suitable for the size of the room. I had the heater plugged in all night and the room never got up to a comfortable temperature

Reception was not great sorry to say. Just not very welcoming. They were not horrible by any means, just not very welcoming. Bed was comfortable and clean. But room was dated, not the cleanest, and could do with decorating. The entire hotel could do with a huge redecorating project.
