Although the building and the grounds are lovely it is in need of significant refurbishment. It needs new paint, new carpets, a thorough clean ( windows in particular were grossly filfthy). It was advertised as having air con which is a joke. The one small fan did nothing to cool us down and in common with others who stayed here we were not able to sleep as the rooms were just too hot. And breakfast was a joke. There was very little to choose from and when I asked for fresh eggs a tray of pre-cooked ones was brought out which were stone cold. Would actively discourage other people from staying here. Definitely not worth the £106 I paid
