I checked out in the morning then realized that I left my items early night on the same date then called to the reception then the guy told me that call back tomorrow morning after 9 am without any check then I call them back again next morning then the reception told there is nothing left! I am very frustrated this poor customer service and I am very shocked that they do not keep the items any minutes. I will never come back this hotel again and i am so disappointed.

This was a very well located hotel with respect to Paddington Station however, the room allocated to my wife and I was very small and claustrophobic, and the bed too small for two adults to sleep comfortably. I see this as being a ideal hotel more for single business persons rather than for a couple but obviously am only basing this on the room we were given.

This was a very average hotel. The staff was nice and the rooms were clean, however, not any charm to it. Also, I had a window facing the street so couldn't sleep properly due to alot of noise. Breakfast was very limited and standard.

Executive room good size and comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful including General Manager whom I had communicated with before hand. Small problems / and requests dealt with in a timely fashion. If using Paddington Station then ideal location with good connections to rest of London.

Negative experience from pre-authorization and mislaid reservation for day stay

I reserved a three night and extended day stay at the beginning of the month, paid extra for the extended day stay, a 6pm check-out on the Sunday. The higher price also included the option to cancel until noon on the day of arrival and no payments before the hotel stay. I was dismayed at the pre-authorization of a third of the amount on Monday before the stay (Thursday-Sunday) and when I got to the hotel, I was told I could stay until 2pm on Sunday. I pointed out my reservation, but to no avail. I had to talk to a manager the next day to have this rectified, and be able to stay until 6pm on Sunday, which mattered a great deal, because my flight back was 9pm that night. I also got three pre-authorizations, which I think were totally unnecessary, as I can pay the full amount either when I arrive or when I leave. I am not talking about authorizing the card at check-in, which is necessary, but pre-authorizations outside that. Otherwise, your hotel has excellent location, good service and the service staff was welcoming and cheerful. The desk staff, however, were not competent and need to be able to look up guests' reservations and comply with them.

Location very close to Paddington station is very convenient. Hotel is aged, with some discomfort. Breakfast buffet is limited, but overall sufficient.

Myself and two friends were booked at the Mecure London Paddington. The booking was made in early December yet when we arrived separately, my friends from Essex and myself from Denmark, we were moved to Hotel Indigo. There was no email informing me of this change.

I was very happy with the easy access from Paddington Station. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We were able to check in early The room was clean. Facilities were good and the bed was comfortable. I liked the hairdryer position. Gym was disappointing.

Well located but noisey

Well located hotel with excellent links to all parts of London Room small (especially bathroom) but only to be expected as was some noise due to being next door to Paddington Station Main problem was noise from next door building work with heavy machinery operating from 8am It would have been good if we had been informed prior to our trip but as it was the experience was spoiled by this intrusion We mentioned it to the staff but it was shrugged off ! There was also an issue with the breakfast as we were only given a single person voucher for each day even though we had booked a double room ! (They did sort it out after a short discussion)
