Arrived off a red eye flight in the AM and attempted to check in (Platinum Members and above enjoy early check-in), only to be dismissed by the curt desk agent who didn't even bother to look up my profile and just declared all check-ins are at 3pm and didn't even look up from his computer. No consideration was provided for ALL platinum status and as a returning guest to the property. Deflated, I returned, exhausted, around 1.30pm to check whether my room was available; it wasn't. I then sat in the lobby, only to witness 3 non-member guests being checked in ahead of me. I was then shunted onto the trainee who attempted to overcharge me as she didn't know how to process the points, which were part of my payment. The rooms are minuscule, the tariff sky high, and the staff very rude. I had the opportunity to watch the staff engage with other guests, and the attitude was complacent at best and outright contemptuous at worst. This is a greedy, greedy property - rather than providing umbrellas, you have to rent them via this stupid machine in the lobby, which didn't appear to be functional despite multiple attempts. My advice for any guests, especially those with status, stay elsewhere!

Pleasant and convenient place to stay for overnight before LHR flight. Nice reception with a glass of prosecco. Small but clean and functional room. Many restaurants in the immediate area and the Heathrow Express train is only a few steps away.
