Pros. Reception staff were friendly face to face. Cons. - Never reply via email even telephone. I had to step in by myself in advance. - Could not find any notification for renovating outside, it had white temporary white wall all around hotel for renovating. It had paint smell. - No outside view at all even we have window. -There was no breakfast area inside hotel, it had to walk 2mins. Also no notification website in advance. - Over-rated price for this kinds of disappointing hotel. If I was knowing these information, I could choose Novotel paddington. It has to be notified for Accor members. It was so disappointing experience.

We chose due to location. Didn't realise the hotel is being renovated. Found broken glass in the room which the staff addressed immediately and also a damaged hair dryer which staff sorted. Found the room a little tired as in carpets could do with changing etc however the hotel is very old. The bed was very comfortable and for a small room had ample storage. The bathroom was impressive as the shower was excellent. We will be staying again.
