Because there were no standard rooms available I paid £30 extra for room 305. After a tiring day, I had been travelling since 5:15am that morning, I was looking forward to a quiet night in. Found that the shower wouldn't drain away, may be some blockage, then found the sink was the same, then found the cluster of bedside light switches wouldn't work. Not what I would expect to find in a standard room, but made worse because I had to upgrade.

I had rooms 315 and 318. Easy check in process and staff were helpful with resetting my room card. Room 315 was okay overall but Room 318 - sink was blocked so had to use bath tub to wash hands etc, bathroom smelled like urine. Tolerated as only stayed 1 night.

We stayed as my son was,getting married in rainford. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking convenient too nxt to hotel. I would stay there again.

Stay for one night only. Very happy with a good size room perfectly clean. The first hotel bathroom my wife has been happy with, good lighting and space to put things. Makes all the difference. Very obliging staff.
