Hotel and room were very clean and workable.However it was disappointing to find the bath handrail falling off the wall which make it a safety issue which could easily have been picked up by the housekeeping staff not a guest.The bedding was lightweight and nothing available to add so made it an uncomfortable sleep.Heating would not bring the room temperature up,it only blew cold air so had to turn it off again making the room cold yet the stairwell was warm to reception

I've stayed here many times over the last 15 years and always had a great experience BUT On this last stay I went to the bar as we always do only to find out you have gone CASHLESS!! I don't normally support CASHLESS business but as its the only hotel I'm stuck as go for business. So in future I will Boycott the bar and restaurant very sad to say. I don't want to live in a cashless society.

The rooms are now 100% better than before. My room seems to have had a makeover and is a lot better for this.
