I got a £100 parking fine for staying in the hotel carpark! The Hotel are not interested and says it is nothing to do with them despite me having put my car details into their computer. Terrible.....

On arrival, I was asked to pay up front for the accommodation but was told I could not get a receipt until I checked out. This must be bordering on illegal. Surely if I pay, I am entitled to a receipt there and then? It also means that, if I dine in the hotel, I now have two items to expense. Nothing about this is good customer service. Could someone please explain the reason for this to me? Buffet breakfast was really poor. Eggs were overcooked. Sausages, bacon and mushrooms were sitting in water and were not appealing at all. Big improvement required.
