Stayed over to attend Liverpool Women’s game at St Helens. Super location, nice clean rooms & decent breakfast. Staff very friendly.

The stay was clean and comfortable. The meal deal was a little basic and we were unaware how early the pool closed on a Saturday which was a huge disappointment as we checked in at 4.55 and missed the pool.

Rooms and hotel overall is dated, air condition wasn't very effective, swings between being too hot and too cold, could not open window so not ideal. Sink would not drain so I told front desk when I left. Shower leaked - poor seal on shower glass door so water ran onto floor. Not good.

Reasonable experience, good value. Wedding evening party just off the main foyer was getting loud as we checked in, and stayed loud (could hear it from our room). Bar was a quieter escape but the comfy looking chairs were really not. Breakfast was great.
