Small but clean and comfortable room. Walking distance from airport. We ate at the restaurant at neighbouring Holiday Inn and had drinks at their new cocktail bar.

The room was too small for two people. The double bed was pushed up to the wall, meaning that it was impossible for the person on the inside to get out in the night without waking the other person.

Finding the hotel was a test in itself. There is no signage on the hotel, visible from anywhere, until you are literally at the hotel! We ran into another couple in reception, who has just experienced the task of climbing down a grassy embankment with their cases too, because the sat nav says its there, but unfortunately the hotel does not! The two female staff when we arrived were miserable, and when I asked if anyone had ever mentioned that the hotel was hard to find, she said 'no not really', which I know is a lie, as somebody actually stopped us enroute to the hotel from across the road and told us where it was, as he could tell we were some of the many people who struggle to find it! The room was like a prison cell, adequate to sleep in for a few hours, and close to T2, but I've stayed in a few Ibis hotels before and this was by far the worst. You could obtain things from Reception, but didn't find this out until you got up to your room, so it may have been beneficial to highlight this to guests before they treck up 7 floors with suitcases, only to come all the way down again! The 2 male members of staff that were on reception the following morning as we were leaving were very different, smiley & friendly.
