Easy check-in, discounted parking, hotel was clean and well-presented, all staff were friendly and efficient, room and facilities all comfortable. The city centre isn't too far to walk, but ubers are all around if needed. The only thing I would change in the privilege rooms is not keeping the mini fridge in a separate small cupboard as it feels very warm to the touch when opened, but the complimentary refreshments were appreciated nonetheless! Overall a nice stay, will be back again at some point :)

The majority of the hotel is modern comfortable and reasonably priced in terms of rooms. We had a suite to prepare for a wedding which worked really well.
Only issue is the fact only one lift was working throughout our entire estate which did cause long waits occasionally.

I had a really lovely two-day stay at this hotel and I enjoyed it very much.
The hotel is not right in the city centre, but it is very well connected and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. It was also very convenient for getting to Sherwood Forest.
I received a warm welcome from Andrea at reception, who was extremely kind and helpful. I also had a fantastic dinner — I really enjoyed the food, and the service from Dominic was excellent. He was incredibly friendly and attentive.
I really enjoyed the breakfast too, especially the variety, including the boiled eggs and dried fruit and nuts.
The room was clean and comfortable, and overall I had a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

We stayed for one night and, although there were some positives, unfortunately the overall experience didn’t feel like good value for the £188 we paid.
The room rate did include a bottle of wine and late checkout, which is worth mentioning, although neither was particularly useful to us. The wine was something we didn’t want, and the room rate we booked was the only rate available, so we didn’t have the option of choosing a cheaper room without these extras. The late checkout was also included, but again, it wasn’t something we particularly needed.
The room itself was comfortable, with a lovely comfy bed and pillows, but it was quite small for the price. The room service food was lovely, although the member of staff who delivered it came across as quite rude and was on her phone while waiting for me to take the food and make payment, which didn’t give the best impression.
Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. The sausages were undercooked and the breakfast was only lukewarm. There was also no coffee or hot chocolate available from the coffee machine, and there were no glasses available for juice. When we arrived, there was nobody there to greet or seat us, so we simply sat down. It made me wonder how they would know who had actually paid for breakfast, as anyone could have walked in and done the same.
I also paid £30 for some extra touches in the room. It was a nice idea and it was lovely to have something waiting for us, but I honestly don’t feel they were worth the price. The £10 box of chocolates included chocolates that retail for around £4 at B&M, while the other £20 covered three balloons, a banner, foil decorations and fake rose petals. I completely appreciate that there is a cost involved in arranging and setting everything up, but for £30 I expected it to look a little more special and premium. This is definitely something I think the hotel could improve.
The £12 parking charge also felt quite steep when we had already paid £188 for one night. Even with the wine and late checkout included, it would have been nice for parking to be included or at least cheaper.
There were definitely some positives — the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were lovely and the room service food was genuinely good. The wine and late checkout were also nice additions for someone who would make use of them.
Overall, while there were some good aspects to our stay, for us the experience didn’t quite match what we expected for the price. There are some relatively small things that could make a big difference, particularly with breakfast, the service and the presentation of the additional extras.

To be honest, no much complaints, I didn't have time to use my free welcome drinks, I didn't realise that my room hasn't got a fridge when I made my booking, the breakfast was fine with nice staff. There were two problems, one of the lifts was not working, we used the stairs because the hotel was full and the waiting time for the lift was too long, and second problem was the car noise on the main road, my room was facing the main road, and guests coming late and speaking loud, it was like they were in my room. It was a two days stay so I didn't have enough time to enjoy the health facilities such as swimming pools, sauna or steam room. I will definitely use the hotel next visit, but I will make sure that I choose the right room, and also thanks for the free car park, it saved as £24.

It’s my third time staying here and it’s always really nice and clean and comfortable room is spacious and amenities are good located near city centre and parking is available
