Town centre with parking and lovely rooms. Bar offerings are a bit limited but there are pubs nearby. Didn’t eat whilst there.

we stayed in Darlington to attend the hospital as we live 50 miles away. The hotel is warm and comfortable, if a little old fashioned. A fridge in the room would be a bonus, but the staff made up for any shortcomings by being very helpful.

Lovely hotel and very helpful friendly staff. 2 critisims: The only food available in the evening was bar meals which were very limited and not good quality. I couldn't open my bedroom window. One other thing is that they take a deposit on arrival, and only by card payment. These should be mentioned on the website in my opinion.
