Had difficult closing the blackout curtains so light woke me up early in the morning. The shampoo dispenser nearly came off the wall when i tried to use it. The shower head fixture would only point left or right so ended up pra tically flooding the bathroom.

I recently stayed at this Novotel for one night as part of an event, and unfortunately, it was a very poor experience.The issues started immediately at check-in. The first room allocated to me was already occupied by a guest who hadn't vacated. Reception was completely unaware, meaning I was handed a key to someone else's room, which is a major privacy and security concern. To the hotel's credit, the gentleman at the reception desk was very nice - Ashish and immediately moved me to a second room.Unfortunately, the second room was not in a pleasant state. There was an unpleasant smell, and the carpets were old, dirty, and stained. Worse still, the linens had a weird odour and a few stray hairs on them, making me incredibly uncomfortable. Because of this, I barely slept. I expect much higher standards of cleanliness and odour control from a brand like Novotel.Additionally, I attended an event there. While the catering looked visually appealing, the food itself was completely tasteless—a sentiment echoed by several of my colleagues. Overall, this was a poor stay, and I hope management takes immediate steps to improve room housekeeping and food quality

I expected a 4 star stay but it felt like a 3 star hotel instead. Rooms were extremely dated with carpet stains and alot of mold in the corners of the toilet. Other IHG hotels in Europe (Ibis/Mercure) provided a water dispenser in the common areas so we can continually refill our bottles when needed but here, we have to call and request for small 250ml packets which is not environmentally friendly at all. Cleaning service was also mandated to be on alternate days only and somehow with my 7 nights stay i only had my room cleaned twice. Vouchers for the bar was provided for days without service and these were specific to those dates only and not flexible throughout my stay. Yet somehow my room cleaning was missed on one of the alternate days and when providing this feedback to reception, no apologies. They just offered to deliver fresh towels and water to the room. Poorest stay of the IHG hotels i've been to so far.

1. The room door failed to open on two occasions due to a battery issue, which caused me to miss two business appointments. 2. The employees’ communication and level of friendliness did not meet my expectations.

Pros - brilliant location, corporate food outstanding, bar prices reasonable, staff go above & beyond - real assets to Novotel Room very dated, carpets stained++, inside toilet brown, shower screen 🤢, had to move room to a marginally better arrangement. Lifts temperamental. Breakfast mediocre, hot food luke warm (would be better 2 stations to get b'fast), pancake machine jamming.

The stay as a whole wasn't great. They tried to charge us to check in and then told us we had to pay a security deposit in case of damage that wasn't made apparent before we arrived, despite the rooms having obvious damage when we walked in. On top of that, we weren't informed about the parking situation when we checked in so we had to pay double what it should've been when we left. I personally won't recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Wrong room at first. Took a second receptionist to move us. Dirty nappies discarded on the roof which our window looked out on. Breakfast not great. Small selection of fruit. Coffee from a machine. The location made up for the hotel. Could not have been more convenient!

It was about a 5-minute shortcut from Hammersmith Station, making sightseeing convenient. The building and some facilities showed signs of use, but considering London’s cost of living, it was a good value hotel, and the room condition and breakfast were satisfactory. There was a small gym, so it was great for light exercise.

I was sitting in the members section of the breakfast area when 2 mice ram across the floor. The breakfast has somewhat deteriorated since my last stay. I remember a more ample müsli and yoghurt selection. Empty serving area and slow refill. I carried the new refill of eggs myself

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and this time was good as well. On check-in Waqas was very helpful in setting up my stay and the room was well appointed and comfortable.

Nice hotel but the room let it down. On entering the room the smell hit you, it smelt like a really old house. The carpet had some really bad stains on it, it clearly needed changing. The bedside light didn’t work. The shower controls came off in your hand . Breakfast was decent, staff nice.

Had a warm welcome during check in and our request (paid upgrade) to a suite was honored. Room was comfortable and clean (apart from the carpet in certain areas). Complimentary mini bar items were a nice touch. Free drinks vouchers did not cover more expensive drinks at the bar which is something management may want to consider.

Generally a good experience and a nice hotel. Unfortunately I had to move rooms late at night due to the fact there were housekeeping working outside of my room for a long period of time due to where it was located, and that was preventing me from being able to sleep. My room was across from of a room they used for supplies etc. I have stayed here once before on a different floor and didn't have that problem.
