Great location for us to get to and from Eventim Apollo. Polite and helpful staff. The room had all we needed. Breakfast was good for the whole family.

The room was... ok. Having requested a quiet room prior to arrival, I was surprised to be placed not only right by the lifts but also next to the ice machine, which I wouldn’t really consider “quiet”. Thankfully it was midweek, so there wasn’t too much traffic, but enough for it to be noticeable. The room itself also felt quite dated, particularly the bathroom, and honestly I’ve stayed in nicer rooms for far less. I was surprised this was a Novotel, as it felt more comparable to a Premier Inn or Travelodge in terms of appearance and finish. Considering the price, and what we were told was an "upgrade", the room did not meet expectations. I was also a little disappointed there wasn’t a pool, as I had expected one, though that was only a minor inconvenience. That said, it did the job, and we appreciated the noon checkout time. Overall, it was an okay stay, but not quite what I would expect for the price point or the so-called upgrade.
