We have a THEFT experience at Novotel West London when we stayed there last week. The housekeeping staff went to our room touched my wife’s items and we could tell as it was not in the original position. We complained to the reception the same night and the next morning this housekeeping staff kept giving us a stare. Although we specify no housekeeping thereafter they keep breaking into the room. Ultimately when we check out my wife realized she lost her CD bracelet worth 500 pounds. We did make a police report and reach out to the hotel via Expedia but the hotel refused to reply. This is a true story not a made up one. Please see photo below ro show that we really stayed at Novotel West London last week. Secondly I was also charged a $150 pound deposit. After reading horror story that deposits are not returned I requested to pay via cash but was turned down flatly. At the last day of checkout I reminded the staff to cancel the transaction and they say they will do it but I told them I will inform Expedia if not done so. The staff said no need contact them will do. I’m sure she is worried by Expedia as shortly in 10 mins I received the cancellation. Book at your own risk if you want your things stolen or deposit potentially confiscated Such a dishonest establishment and should not be undertaken Novotel.
