Perfect location for the Hammersmith Eventim and close to the station. Reception staff very helpful and allowed early check in as room was ready. Room perfect for needs and appreciate efforts to try and keep things as environmentally friendly as possible.

Very disappointed overall with this visit. I'll begin with the positives. Ioannis on reception was fabulous as he always is. Francisco in the bar was also very good and empathetic to the situation that I will go on to describe. The room, as always, was very nice. The issue is that the hotel was hosting a large event for 1500 people. This led to complete bedlam in the bar. After a long day we simply wanted to grab a drink and some food in the bar - impossible. Large groups of the event guests were just sat around in the bar taking up the seating/tables and they were not purchasing anything. There was no table service for drinks, some tables were cordoned off to allow for a queue management system, drinks were served in plastic cups, cocktails were not available, no food was available in the bar. After spending in excess of £500 for accomodation it is very disappointing to not have access to the basic level of service that I expect, and have previously received, at a hotel of this stature. I feel strongly that the hotel should notify paying guests in advance if an event of this size is being held on a weekend to give the opportunity of changing plans. My overall feeling as a regular ALL customer is that the NOvotel London West do not value me as a customer. I will very likely make my next stay at a different hotel to see what else is out there. Simply poor service - paying guests are the heartbeat of a hotel not random events.
