Well located but plenty of issues with the room and before the check in

I have called the reservation team to provide my credit card details over the phone to guarantee the booking. I have also emailed them afterwards as a follow up however, the night staff ended up cancelling the booking at 3am 10 minutes before my relatives arrival because there was no guarantee. I cannot tell you how stressed I was with this mistake! Since the allocation was messed up, they ended up allocating a very small room definitely not worth it €400 for two people. I would appreciate if a manager could get back to me as I used to work in hotel before and this is not the type of service I would have offered.

Overall a great hotel. Check in was friendly but chaotic. Room was clean, tidy and well presented. Food in the on-site pub was average quality but poor value for money - nearly £9 for a burger without chips! Would potentially stay again if the price was right.

We had a 2 night stay in this economy hotel. Our original room allocated smelt of smoked cigarettes, especially the bathroom which also smelt like a can of air freshener has been emptied in it so 'hide' the smell. We complained to reception in person after the phone in the room also did not work. The receptionist didn't apologise straight away, but also stated that they had no other rooms available and they were fully booked (remember this.. no other rooms!), and that she would send room keeping up to refresh the room. I asked if we could keep our cases in their storage and she said no, we would have to leave them in the room... the smoke smelled room. We decided not to! So off we went for 2 hours for exploring and lunch... with our cases. We returned to our room, the same heavy smell.. So back down to reception to complain, for them to say it hadn't been done yet... but at least she apologised.. but then said she would move us to another room (when originally told no other rooms!) She also gave us some drinks vouchers as an apology, but i am pretty sure the T&Cs on the voucher say they are for signed up members, and you get one for each night of your stay.... We are members and did not get these... so this was disappointing! Luckily, the rest of our party did not have any issues with their rooms! But we wont be staying at an Ibis again, not recommending to others... Lets hope other hotels in the ALL brand are not like this...

It was okay but the water pressure on the 11th floor was so low having a bath was impossible!

Fantastic stay at a well located hotel with excellent and comfortable facilities; the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was busy but it was possible to get a seat and enjoy a hearty breakfast each day.

Friendly staff. Nice room. Great location. Only thing I can say wasn't wonderful was the wifi, which came and went. Sometimes it worked Good, other times it was painfully slow.

The twin room I had was absolutely disgusting - the Carpet was ripped and missing in places, the stains on the walls were concerning! it was like staying in a squat it was filthy.

Desk staff were perfunctory, no greetings or pleasantries offered. Hotel is a little tired. Bed was comfortable and shower good. Would be good if consideration was given to female guests by not locating them at the far end of corridors.

I was highly disappointed in my recent stay. I was visiting London as part of a UK trip and thought I would have a good experience here. I paid extra for an early check in but when I arrived to to hotel tired from my travels the staff told me I couldn’t do early check in. I asked to have the fee refunded and they did it it took multiple emails to get it resolved. The room itself was very outdated and dirty looking. The only benefit here is the location.

I booked room 711 for my brother & sister in law for Friday 7th May. She has very recently had life saving heart surgery. They were happy with the room but concerns over the cleanliness of the wall in the shower where my brother found evidence of previous shower user & as far as I know brought this to the attention of the desk staff, who offered 2x £20 vouchers to spend in the Bar restaurant which was a kind gesture for which my brother told me to collect. Thank you.

Comfortable bed and clean Good breakfast Very tired decor, hallways and carpet make it look dated and all needs a bit of paint and brightening up I had rung and gave the name of a change of person into room both times was ageeed and told that the name of my colleague was written on the booking They queried him staying as no name change on booking and even had to ring me. This took time for my colleague who was busy and had a function to go to

Check out was slow as unfortunately I was dealt by a trainee, on having the keys to the room I was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, the location of the hotel is excellent as there are a number of restaurants, bars, convenience stores, it has parking and disabled parking spaces, the hotel room was clean. I visited the pub on the first floor, staff were really good and helpful, ordered the fish and chips meal and although it was £15 the quality more than justified the price. Breakfast was a good setvup and the food again was excellent, the addition of vegan sausages was great. Very happy with my stay, only downside would be the lack of plugs especially bedside. Well done.

We had an early morning call at 5am for a flight from Heathrow, but the people in the room next to us laughted and spoke very loudly until 3am, not the best nights sleep. We have stayed many times at the Ibis and have never experienced any problems, we will be back in August for another visit.

Location was perfect with the tube station only 5 mins walk away. Accommodation was adequate for a good nights sleep, clean with comfortable beds, although very basic, no frills. Great breakfast with plenty of choice and modern dining room. Very reasonable cost per night for a London stay.
