Good stay with everything one can expect from ibis. The only real problem point was the lighting in the room which was not bright enough. We appreciated the ability to have low level lighting, but it would have been helpful on a dark London day to be able to choose brighter lighting.

It was okay the room was good. Struggled to speak to staff as there English wasn’t great the breakfast the next day was all cold so couldn’t eat it. We couldn’t sit in the main restaurant for breakfast as it was full of school children on a holiday

The renovation makes this hotel much more appealing than it was. Decent bed and good decor. Two negatives though: 1: the Aircon units are really noisy. A rattle like you wouldnt expect from supposed new unit. In early March we could turn it off (though the room was a bit chilly), but come summer or winter that would be a deal breaker. 2: the TVs in the room are smart TVs, but either by design or mistake that functionality has been disabled. Being able to 'Cast' from my phone would have been valuable. It's really infuriating that the TV has the tech, but it's not enabled!. Would I stay again? Only if I was assured the Aircon was an issue only in that room.

Well located. Comfortable. Good breakfast. Would be helpful to have more place to put clothes - there is only space to hang clothes. As a family of three we stayed for 5 nights it can become a little chaotic. We stayed an Accor hotel in Amsterdam with exactly the same size room and there was a small amount of shelving for clothes and belongings - we found that really helpful
