Spend a wonderful 4 days at the Savoy and everything was perfect in an understated luxury way. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious, all of the dining & bars are welcoming and the food top notch. I also used the sauna in the spa extensively, which really helped mitigate jet lag. Finally, the location is superb, right on the Thames and 5 minutes from Covent Garden and other top spots. Will return!

The window in our room was broken, with a large air gap meaning we could hear everything from the street. We were woken up at 3:30am, 4:30am and 5:15am. We complained in the morning, and the response from savoy management was appalling. It was rude and intimated that we were either lying or couldn’t work a window. I’m a diamond member of Accor - which is to say I use these hotels a lot. That they can’t provide us with a decent night sleep at a flagship, and then treat us as if we were in the wrong for their issues, is reprehensible. We also dined at the Savoy Grill, and like many Gordon Ramsey establishments the food was lovely but the service was appalling. The only bright spot was the service at breakfast which was impeccable. Our server was lovely and might be the only reason I would consider a return visit.
