Hotel facilities were good, staff on reception and the bar were helpful and polite. The bin in the bedroom hadn't been emptied and had waste from the previous occupant, that's a first for me in hotel stays and made me wonder if the room has been cleaned but everything else looked OK. Found it amazing on a bank holiday monday to be awoken to a loud knocking on the room door. Looking through the door spy glass a member of hotel staff was stood there, he didnt hear me asking how can i help you? Upon opening the door ajar and hiding behind the door due to not being fully dressed o said "wants up". Oh sorry sir room service ill come back, again another first for me - we hadn't even checked out. Maybe that's a way to get people moving and have fast turn arounds.
