Can only say I am very impressed with this hotel, a call prior to my stay a few days earlier to say I was a coeliac and they came up trumps, every evening meal was gluten free (not that I even suspect other diners knew this) absolutely made my day so a super big thankyou to the chef and team. Had a good breakfast too. All the staff here are so lovely and accommodating, the hotel is clean and fresh and I would definitely return

I stayed two nights at the hotel 24/11 - 26/11. The hotel is well laid out with a nice , bright modern lounge and dinning areas. All the staff I interacted with were courteous, efficient and came across as genuine. I found the room clean, large, quiet and well maintained, the "hospital bed tray" was something I hadn't seen in a hotel before, but it was a nice addition.. The shower was very spacious, powerful and hot. The restaurant food was good I had shepherds pie and the greens medley one evening and really enjoyed it. It was a nice touch that the staff asked how it was and then then checked in again to see if I wanted to order anything else. There was a good selection at breakfast (everything I wanted anyway) and when the orange juice ran out I mentioned it to a member of staff and they filled it up immediately. The hotel is better than most of the competition in the same price bracket and I would recommend it to others

The staff at the hotel were genuinely excellent — friendly, helpful, and a real credit to the place. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the food. We ordered dishes that were recommended to us, but they were extremely disappointing. Portions were very small, poorly presented, and simply not enjoyable. Another person in our group ordered a burger, but what arrived was practically non-existent. When we raised the issue, even the staff admitted that the quality of the food depends on which chef is working that day — and one of them even said she wouldn’t eat it herself. That really says it all. It’s a real shame because there are no other food options nearby, so the hotel has the market to itself and clearly doesn’t feel any pressure to maintain decent standards. With a bit of effort, this could be a fantastic experience, but at the moment the food seriously lets the whole place down.

Nice hotel, Bedroom comfortable as is the bed but only 1 pillow per person.Tv Did not work, couldn’t get an aerial signal. No phone to ring reception and went twice no staff on reception. Due to disability I gave up. Due to overlooking the car park I was woken up at 5.30 by noise. Restaurant staff were very disorganised food was coming out of kitchen at totally different times. Cottage pie was cold by the time the veg came out. No choice of desserts. Cake only no good for diabetic customers. Breakfast was a disaster, every item was brought out at totally spaced out times. Ended up doing without. Would I go back. Probably not especially because of the 1 pillow.
