I booked in (online) for two nights. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and I was in my room in no time at all. I enjoyed my stay. Always lovely staff, no problems with parking, ideal breakfast, quiet room….even a maintenance problem, discovered on arrival, was quickly and courteously resolved

The best part of my stay ( over 2nights) was due to the help of Jazz in reception. I forgot to pack toothpaste and I approached Jazz at reception and explained, she sorted out curtisy toothpaste for me for my whole stay… I ordered an uber eats and again, Jazz sorted access for room delivery… on my second morning the chef happy preparing breakfast, allowed me to start mine 10 mins early (6.20am) which was great also …. Pretty clean hotel… room was ok and my stay was paid for as I was on a training course for 2-days… but I did research the room costs etc… it’s a basic good value for money hotel… you get what you pay for, and more… I definitely would book this establishment/ Barnsley on again …

Stayed at ibis Styles Barnsley for one night recently and had a very pleasant experience. The location is great and convenient for getting around the area.
