Friendly welcome when I arrived late in the evening, nive warming food. The room however was draughty, and the bathroom door did not shut properly. One of the lifts was out of action so I had to wait for 6 minutes to leave in the morning.

Everything was fine at each stays I spent in the hotel except a little problem with getting an invoice in e-mail but that's been solved in a short way. I'm happy to be in ibis Reading Centre because easy to reach the accommodation from the airport and the office as well and the staff is really kind. I would recommend it to everyone. The only thing I have to mention is that the Accor Hotels application is useless. My account has not been updated with the number of nights and the contact details (postal address) is not in synchronized with the accounting system of the hotel. This means that the address of the invoice has to be manually updated each time. Small thing but essential in case of a business trip.

Stayed for 2 days in January 2020. One of the lifts did not work and even though I requested twice, I did not received email confirmation of my bill.

Had to make up my own room. This is the second time since switching to this hotel a few months ago that this has happened. Rooms are ticked off as readied when they are not.

Overall a good stay, great location for commuting to the university. I had a flooding shower the first morning but it was fixed by the next so that was great. Looking at other reviews one lift has been broken quite a while and waiting for the other lift is a real pain so they should fix that. The breakfast is also mostly good but the fresh fruit salad runs out before 7.30 so they should refresh this.

The room had an invisible hole in the wall through which the cold freezing wind was coming inside of the room. The heating fan was kind of outdated - terribly noisy - so it could not be switched on during the night. One of the two lifts was broken, so the waiting time for the lift was quite long (app. 10 minutes).

Only one lift worked. My friends were on 7th and 8th floor while I was on 14th so getting to and from their rooms was difficult. Also the ironing facility was on 7th floor with 1 working lift, this was time consuming. Took the stairs half of the time. The room was fine. The bed was squeeky. I didn’t use any other facility at the hotel.

Not enough towels Great location overcharged car park which should have been free as bank holiday but not told in hotel paid and then told on way out
