The hotel is based in the town centre of Reading where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to visit. Reading also hosts the annual Reading Festival. Tacky and dirty

I stayed for one night in this hotel. Location of the hotel is good, it's located in city centre nearby restaurants, take aways and super market. Staff was also kind and helpful. On negative is the tacky furniture, old decoration but the worst was the bathroom towel. My towel was not clean. This is not acceptable.

This last experience at Ibis Reading wasn't great; unfortunately, a violent person was shouting and smashing things in his bedroom, probably located on the floor below me. I was on the 9th floor, and you could hear him from my room and from the corridor. Other guests heard him, but the reception knew nothing about it. They have cameras, I believe, but they cannot hear anything?I felt there was a dangerous person, and I don't know if there was anyone with him.

I use the Reading Ibis every time I need to stay in Reading for work or pleasure. I have always found them to be super friendly and super helpful, but unfortunately this time I was left disappointed after I was made to feel like a power cut was my fault.
