Room was cosy and comfortable. What you would expect from an ibis. Under current restrictions it was well managed and breakfast was good and plentiful. Our stay however was ruined by lack of sleep due to room next door having a party till the very early hours. No staff were aware. I shouted down corridor at which point occupant opened door for me to witness a room full of people obvs breaking covid restrictions. We exchanged words, I reported them to reception and the staff said if it persists then let me know. This was 4am and a room full. Of people. More than 6 I counted. The staff never came up to check. Fortunately my intervention broke up the party and they left but our sleep was already disturbed by then and we struggled to get back to sleep. Shame really as it would have been a better stay. Shame the staff never acted on my concerns. Prob won't stay there again based on this.

I stayed one night on my own and had asked for a quiet room and that is what I got. The room contained everything I needed and all the fittings were new. I had breakfast, which was a good buffet and was pleased this was available from 6.30, 7 days a week, as I wanted to leave early to catch a train.

Great Location, But could hear somebody going to the loo every 20 minutes. Along with this there was shouting in the corridor throughout the night so struggled to get some sleep. Okay room. Unsure if I would stay at Ibis again.

Basic but clean. Staff were helpful. The lift had a mind of its own (going to random floors & repeatedly missing ours) and the carpark was £14 for 24hr not £8 as advised by hotel but great location, lots of restaurants and the train station just around the corner.

I stayed for one night in July, my room was very quiet despite being in the centre of Reading and opposite a load of bars, zero street noise in my room. The room itself was very clean and had everything I needed for a one night stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend to anyone else needing a reasonably priced room to stay in Central Reading.

Was a nice room, and well located hotel. Only problem was being kept awake till 3am by other guests shouting, running between rooms and banging doors.

Hotel were very accommodating with our bikes and keeping them safely secure over night. Location was great, right in the city centre. Room was nice and bed was comfy. Only issue was there was no soap to wash your hands or any toiletries unlike the styles hotels.

Got a good deal comparatively, so happy with the cost. Location is near the train station which is best for me. Security using the room card to access the elevator very good idea. But the most uncomfortable chair ever, and I had to sit in it a lot to work on my computer. Also very noisy air conditioning, somehow linked to the bathroom so the buzzing would vary based on bathroom use! One day out of 8 it was not noisy. Lastly the water in the shower goes hot and cold which can be very painful and not relaxing at all.
