The cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to standard. I moved the bin to put something in it, to find that there was an ant behind it. The toilet seat had discolouration and the sink had yellow marks.

I won't be able to answer the rest of this survey as I booked a room at this hotel for my daughter and her friend to stay at after graduation celebrations. I was very pleased with the location, the price and especially the email communication from the General Manager Brian Opauka. The girls appreciated being able to check-in from 2pm - to get ready for the night ahead! And the very generous midday check out the following day.

The hotel was great and staff were polite and efficient. Room was quiet and comfortable. My only gripe is parking. Whilst I'm aware that parking in London is difficult at the best of times, the number of designated parking spaces here is insufficient meaning that cars are parked up on grass/kerbs and in front of each other. On my particular visit one grey One Series BMW was parked across two spaces further exacerbating the situation. If you'd paid on advance for a space and one was not available you'd be very annoyed.

Staff were lovely, however room was rather basic. Bathroom smelt quite damp and shower wasn't clean we had to ask them to clean it. Bedding rather thin but comfortable bed. Wasn't always someone there to serve though, had to wait a few minutes to check in.

Stayed here for a show at o2 was easy enough to get to from this hotel. Hotel itself was nice, comfortable room and friendly staff. I didn’t book breakfast but it smelt and looked delicious on the way out unfortunately I didn’t have time to eat.

Arrived a couple hours early and was easily able to get a parking spot, paid for parking for the duration of the stay and then paid for the room. Upon arriving back at the hotel at 13:55 I was told (by the receptionist) check in does not start until 2 and that she was busy dealing with house keeping. We did not get checked in until 1415, not a massive deal but still not great to be kept waiting. When we entered the room, it was clean and presentable, there was a small stain on the pillow but that was dealt with very quickly. Overall, we'd stay here again and apart from the second receptionist all staff were extremely helpful and accommodating

We have stayed here several times and had breakfast but this bank holiday the breakfast was poor and despite people waiting was just not being restocked with the staff member bringing out two eggs or two sausages etc at a time so breakfast was very hit and miss.Also parking was a nightmare again something that hasn’t been a problem before.

On arrival at the hotel we were given 2 rooms as booked. One of these had a guest using the room whilst the other had not been serviced. Back at reception I visited the public toilets whilst the single member of staff changed our rooms - the toilets were not fit to be used as one was blocked and about to overflow and the other was filthy. I was allowed to use the disabled toilet. The next room we were given was also occupied. As we had a reservation we were eventually given a twin room for the 3 of us to use to get showered and changed and the member of staff promised that rooms would be ready for us when we returned at 10pm - this was 7.30pm. For ease our son said he would keep the twin room we had just used rather than wait for a double. On returning to the hotel at 10.10 a different member of staff tried to give us keys to the original two rooms and we had to wait for the original staff member. On arrival se said she was preparing out rooms and would be less than 5 minutes. 40 minutes later we were given a room and were able to go to bed. On use neither room had been serviced fully - ours lacked sufficient pillows, the bed was not made properly and there was no shower gel; our sons also lacked shower gel and had no teabags. The next morning we had breakfast - the first time in this hotel although we had used the hotel a number of times previously - interested to see what the 'breakfast will never be the same again' signs promised. Very disappointing - only white bread for toast, the only egg option was poached, and a selection of congealed food in a warmer. Altogether this was the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel and whilst we were initially willing to be understanding that incorrect information had been left for the staff member, the rooms not being ready at 10pm and having to wait 40 minutes when we were told 'less than 5' was beyond annoying and disappointing.

The Ibis was very reasonably priced for our twin sweetroom. We had a small but clean room, with a good bathroom that had a great shower. There was also a small open wardrobe for hanging a few clothes, and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel in general was clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly. The online check in and express check out were useful, especially when leaving as I just dropped the key off and left. We didn't order breakfast but read the breakfast card and it looked like a very good breakfast for a reasonable price.

I wanted a room close to the Wharf with a comfy bed and a hot shower. I got a room right next to my end of the Wharf with an extremely comfy bed and a good hot shower - thank you. Staff were helpful. I didn’t sample the food or drink as there is lots on offer on Canary Wharf.

The hotel's location specifically for the O2 is not great (it's only 500 yards away if you can walk on water!)....this meant we had additional transport fares that we could've put towards accommodation on the O2's side of the river and not had all the hassle of evening and late night travel. Apart from that, the hotel has everything you need; friendly staff, late night bar (!) a bed and hot water

Excellent service in this hotel, with reasonable price. I would like to highlight the excellent quality of the breakfast with real eggs! The only problem is the location, a little bit far from central London and the need to take the DLR.
