I had a comfortable stay at Novotel Tower Bridge. Catalina and Mohd Taisir were especially welcoming and made my stay very comfortable -- they always had a smile on their faces, always greeted us, made conversation, and made us feel at home even when we're away from home. Eva, on the other hand, was one of the rudest hospitality staff members I have ever interacted with. She chose the wrong profession; people who are not 'people-friendly', rude in nature, arrogant should not be working in hospitality, especially at the front desk. While checking out at 12:03 PM, I was taking the luggage out of my room and the room's door closed behind me. The access card stopped working because it was past 12 noon which was the check-out time so I went downstairs to request the team if someone could open the door for a second so that I could take my luggage out which was fully packed and right behind the door. Eva, gave me a lecture, was extremely rude, and made me feel like I had stolen hotel property or committed a serious crime by being 3 minutes late for check-out. Being an Accor Gold member, this experience was unnatural and unusual for me. It made the experience of the entire stay less than what it was. Overall, would I come back to stay at the property? Yes but only because of wonderful staff like Cataline who went out of her way to make my stay comfortable, made my parents feel welcome, always had a smile on her face -- but if I saw Eva at the check-in counter, I would probably walk out and come back later hoping for another person at the front desk.
