Perfect apart from one thing - no mirror in the bedroom only in the bathroom. This is not good when there is two girls staying - apart from that all perfect .

Disappointing Room this time

More expensive too stay this time around, different room this time around - no proper coffee facilities - just instant and a travel kettle!, carpets dirty and toilet damaged.

On your previous stay we were able to upgrade you free of charge to a superior room which has a nespresso machine in. Sadly this time we were unable to provide you with the free upgrade as the hotel is becoming more busier and as such prices are beginning to increase across all of London. I will personally follow up in relation to the housekeeping and front office shortfalls you highlight and address this with the team to ensure we improve in this areas. Once again I apologise that we did not provide you with the experience we wish to, it is our hope that you will give us a chance again in the future to serve you better. Mattresses are thin. No real cups or glasses in room Phones removed and have to use QR code to request things but can’t speak to anyone No room service after 10pm which is very poor for central London Shower flooded room and had to hold shower door when In the shower.

We came along for our daughter's birthday travelled from Newcastle. Jessica had balloons a card and a cake waiting for her. It was wonderful. The room was clean, wonderfully set out, comfortable - very easily the best hotel we have stayed at. Breakfast was fantastic as well - all around a fantastic stay we WILL be back!

An excellent location with good travel connections very nearby. A comfortable, clean bedroom and hotel in general - friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast excellent and tables cleaned very frequently.

I was attending a retirement party in the building opposite. I use Accor hotels regularly for overnight stays in London and tend to choose based on where I need to be / availability. Service is always good and the accommodation is of a high standard.

Front desk were amazing but the room was a let down

We were greeted and welcomed through out by very helpful staff. But our room which was supposed to be a superior room let down our stay. There were dents in the door and stains on the carpet. We normally have the tea and coffee topped up each day but we felt we had to go and ask for this to be replenished,This apparently was due to Covid. We had 1 Bath sheet and 1 Bath towel between 2 of us when we arrived. We tried to use the lift and stairs that were closest to our room and signposted as available, The lift wasn't working so we had to use the stairs only to find out that the door to the lobby was locked at the bottom anyway. I don't feel that our stay and room reflected the price that we paid for which was a superior room. The room let down the overall experience I'm afraid.

Stayed in the tower hill hotel for two nights. We found the hotel to be well located and easy to access from public transport. The hotel was clean and bedrooms provided everything you required. The only issue I had was, the air-conditioning was ineffective. Staff were extremely welcoming and polite. Food was good, breakfast offering a good varied selection. Would definitely stay again and would have no issue recommending to others.

Unexplained cancellation

On arrival at the hotel I was informed that my booking for myself and my family had been cancelled. No notification or explanation other than it was a system generated cancellation. We were “offered” more expensive rooms which I had no option but to take. There was only one towel in a 2 person room and the shower leaked. I will not be returning to Novotel.

I have spoken with the team and believe the booking did not go through as the advance payment option rate you choose failed to go through as such the booking was never received. I believe the Front Office Manager explained this to you upon arrival and that you had further emails which we did not see that we believe to be the notifications of the booking not being accepted. At this point we were then only to offer you the rooms we had left available on the day which were our upgraded rooms to which a 10% discount was applied to. I apologise that the shower leaked and will have maintenance look at this following your review and I have also spoken to the housekeeping team to ensure we provide the correct number of towels for our guests. Please be assured we value your feedback and learn from this as we continually try to improve the experience for our guests. I hope you will give us the chance to serve you better in the future. Stayed here for one night, was given a joining room so could hear everything my neighbours were doing! Very uncomfortable night! TV Remote control did not work, requested to be changed but was told it could not be. The room was clean and the location is perfect, but the above two points let the hotel down.

Good clean and well designed room with all the necessary facilities. Comfortable bed, good shower. Good breakfast with excellent choice of hot and cold food. Only negatives slight odour of drains in bathroom (appeared to be badly designed trap on shower) and glass fronted fridge light came on several times at random. But these were minor issues in an overall good stay.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, just a stone throw away from the Tower Hill Station. Rooms are clear and hygienic. Staffs are nice and attentive. Will definite choose this hotel again when traveling to London
