Breakfast area rather manic as was bar area / noisey. Lack of drinks available to early arrival had to go to another venu for a coffee !

When I first stayed at this hotel 3 years ago I was taken aback at how clean the room was. I am very particular when booking for my business travels. In recent years, however, I have noticed that standards are slipping. Notably the bathrooms. On this trip in particular, the shower has slime all along the shower tray, there was mouldy fluff on the vent in the shower, marks all over the walls and chunks out of the wooden doors. Whilst the rest of the room was clean, this type of thing puts me off staying in hotels. I've seen far, far worse and this is the reason I always come back to the Novotel because of the cleanliness.

Booked this hotel on Cyber Monday. Very close to the Tower Bridge and also many tube stations. Room was great, beds were comfy. The room was a bit warm for me but I like the cold. Window opened and the staff provided fans to cool it down. Staff were great and the on-site restaurant was good too. Will stay there again.
