Overall, we enjoyed our stay, it’s a cosy hotel. I travelled with my ten year old daughter for a tennis tournament, so the open plan nature of the room didn’t bother us too much (but I would not want to share this room with a friend or anyone else, as there was no separate bathroom/privacy) The worst feature was the toilet light, which switches on automatically and stayed on for around 15 mins, and there was a large gap at the top of the door which lights up the whole room. There was no way to switch this off, and it woke up my daughter each time. Also lots of very loud gurgling noises sporadically throughout the night, like a toilet constantly flushing. The breakfast also was very basic, but there is a shopping centre directly opposite.
