Staff very welcoming. Manuel was really helpful when booking in and Alex was worried that the snow may be causing us problems- really thoughtful of him. Lovely room and always enjoy staying here

Check in was a shambles. I recieved a box of biscuits as a good will gesture as we have stayed many times. But room was not ready for 3pm far from it so very disappointed at this as 3pm is too late for a check in in my opinion anyway never mind almost 3.45. First time this has happened. We also got the wrong key card handed to us with different family name on it so that also wasn't very professional. Pool was good. Breakfast good and hotel room nice and very clean. Just need room ready at stated check in time.

Hotel v convenient for transport into Edinburgh, the airport and trains to further areas. Pool brilliant for children with added steam room and sauna , fitness suite and table football. Breakfast was very good, fresh, hot and with plenty of choice. Bar food was limited in choice and hours available. We didn’t use the restaurant. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious although one morning the bed wasn’t remade when the room was serviced. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others for all of the above and especially for the outstanding staff in all areas - welcoming, helpful, professional and “nothing too much trouble” attitude.

Nice hotel and well located to food places and shops. Breakfast was very busy and had to wait to be seated both mornings.

We are in the middle of the Easter holidays at the moment and we do experience extremely busy times during breakfast service. Upon check in, we advise our guests to consider coming for breakfast on the earlier side, however we do know that this might not be convenient for everyone. Friendly staff. Very good location near so many stores and a train and tram stop. 8 minutes by train to Edinburgh Waverley station.
