My wife and I chose to stay at Novotel Edinburgh Park for Hogmanay 2024. Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Positives 1) The hotel provided an early check in and late check out. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. 2) We were given free upgrade to a balcony room and complimentary drinks and discounts on dinner and breakfast. This was a nice surprise! 3) Bathroom was very clean and spacious 4) Hotel is conveniently located very close to tram station. Scope for improvement 1) Hairdryer was under the table and wire was not long enough. So was a bit of struggle 2) Water force in flush in the toilet was very slow. So major drawback All in all it was an enjoyable, comfortable experience

We had a lovely stay with our 5 year old son. The hotel is within walking distance (a few minutes) to both tram and train stops meaning quick direct access into centre. The swimming pool was a fantastic addition as is the gym. Breakfast was delicious and the bathroom in the room was great. The only thing that was slightly underwhelming was the bedroom area itself pretty standard but fit for purpose and our son loved the size of his sofa bed. The staff from front desk, housekeeping and bar area were so pleasant and chatty. They all helped it to be a lovely short break. Would definitely recommend.

We book every January as a treat before the kids go back to school, they love the hotel the Breakfast and esp the pool. We do it every year and has become our family tradition. The staff are very helpful and accommodating, the hotel and our room is always immaculate cannot fault it at all
