Location was great and easy to get into the city. Unfortunately the room was very poor condition with stains all over the carpet. No value for the $$$ we paid. With a bit of love, I am sure this hotel can definately improve.

Good hotel, but failed in the reservation

The hotel is good, with easy access to the city centre and close to the airport. It is a very good cost/benefit relation. But I have two problems with the hotel. First, the payment. For any reason I have problems with the payment/website, and I did not have this issue in any other Accor Hotel. It was sorted out some days after my reservation. Also, as I would arrive early in the morning, I have made a reservation in the night before (i.e. I paid for an additional night) to allow me to get in my room and not wait until the check in time). When I arrive the room was not available and the hotel charged me as a "no show". After a hard discussion the hotel agreed to reimburse me, but I sill did not manage to get a room and as I would spend basically just one day there, it definitely disrupted my trip, with three kids. I went to the city with basically the clothes we travelled, which were not proper for a wind, wet and cold walking day. Had the booking worked, I am sure the experience would be much better.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was a lovely size. I feel for the cost of a room here the quality of the towels and the hospitality tray are a let down and could be improved.

We booked here as it was my sisters 40th was told we would be upgraded which we were and that there would be a nice surprise when we checked in that did not happen. Then on our first day we went to breakfast and there was no food left and the staff were very in helpful. I spoke with a manager who just said that the kitchen were not prepared if this is the case you should not be sitting people down .

Room was cold even after turning up temperature, also restaurant very cold at night when dining in. Felt like 2 beds pushed together as opposed to 1 double bed.

We stayed at the Novotel Edinburgh Park for my sons birthday. With a visit to the xmas market, and lots of swimming at the hotel, it was a great short break. The staff were very helpful, check in and out straightforward and the parking helped to avoid the stresses of the city centre. Recommended

Overall fairly good. However, broken plug meant in order to shower I had to stand in the water of the person who used the shower before me. Reception did fix it but the bath wasn’t cleaned following the repair and was coated in the soap that had been sitting in the bath, made it very sloppy. Also, the handle on the inside to access the balcony was missing?! Meant we couldn’t get outside for any fresh air despite having a balcony. The room was lovely but disappointed with a few aspects.

Satisfactory stay. Room very basic, for the price. stayed one night at Premier Inn and will be booking there in future, Novotel no better yet significantly more expensive. Bar staff never there when i attended, had to go to reception. No customer service at the pool, gym area, very low standard. Spent 5days at a course and Every single day when we broke for our tea break, twice a day the water urns had not been replenished. Really poor basic customer service For a new potentially lucrative client for your hotel. Not impressed. Terrible experience booking on the telephone if my course wasn’t here i would have cancelled the booking. The meet and greet however on the front desk was welcoming friendly efficient and kind. The toilets were continuously being cleaned.

I am disappointed to learn that your stay did not live up to you expectations, and that the level of customer service you received during your 5-day course was not great. I will, of course, share this comment with our Meeting & Events coordinator, in order for them to investigate what happened on this occasion. We do have an unmanned swimming pool as per brand standards, however our Reception staff is on duty 24/7 and they are always happy to assist our guests whether they have any issues or requests during their time at the leisure centre. I understand that, at the moment, you would not consider booking this hotel again. We stay at this hotel frequently as keeps up its standards, has friendly professional staff and is convenient for the tram into town. We received an upgrade as members of the Accor Hotels Reward programme to a very nice room on the fifth floor which was greatly appreciated.
