Hotel easy to find on A137 from A14 main road. Car park adjacent was adequate in spaces, but often full during day with course attendees. Our executive room was large and well-appointed, on the top floor and totally quiet despite the traffic outside most of the time. We ate in the restaurant each evening; there is a large and varied menu to satisfy most tastes (including vegetarian). The food was well cooked and beautifully presented, and each of the teams served our meals with a smile. In fact all staff members we met were most pleasant and helpful. Buffet breakfast contained plenty of choice; hot breakfast dishes could be ordered freshly cooked, and our continental breakfast included juice, fresh fruit, range of cereals, toast, bread and jam. Very satisfied with this professionally run hotel.

We stayed at the Novotel Ipswich as we were attending a family get-together in the area. We enjoyed its excellent central location from which we could walk into town or to the vibrant dockside restaurants and bars. The team that look after you in this hotel are second to none. They remember your name, check-in swiftly and politely and are happy to recommend local things to do and promote the area. The rooms have been recently upgraded and are well presented and kitted out -everything you need for a short or longer stay. The breakfast team are engaging and constantly circulating the restaurant ensuring that everyone has what they need. You cant really better the treatment you get - well done Novotel Ipswich
