Perfect location. Room quite worn, holes and stains in carpets. Water in the bathroom smelt of sewage so we didn’t know whether to use it or not. Room had air con which was great

Arrived at 10pm from long travel . Reception was soulless and functional . Had to retrieve hire car reg number after parking - which was trying. CHeck in offered no alternative for food as kitchen shut . Bar was open but not welcoming as staff had to re install the beer tap “ive just cleared up for the night”. Room was nice . Breakfast was fije not amazing and service again was brusque. Heard that it was a fomer migrant hotel so I do think staff training on customer service is needed and you are missing out on offering food outside of kitchen hours . Also didnot get Accor points as booked through comoany yet rates were lower booking On fheor channels . Other novotels give points

Regarding your dining experience, the kitchen operates specific hours, and I understand the challenges this may pose for late arrivals. We are in the process of amending this over the next few weeks so we will have a 24 hour offering. While our bar remains open, we appreciate your feedback on its ambiance and staff interaction. Your comments about customer service training have been noted, as we continuously seek to improve our team's performance. Concerning the Accor points, you are entitled to points as booked through your company. My apologies for the confusion. I can see you membership hasn't been added. This is my second visit to the Novotel Ipswich and I’m pleased that it continues to be a great go-to hotel. It is greatly located not far from the main train station, and is close to amenities for eating out. There is also a good-sized car park, enabling me to park on site, and the rates are fair. The rooms are very nice and well equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there is an amazing cooked breakfast too.
