Starting with a very courteous front of house greeting, we found our room and it was described, very clean, we then went for a meal and the restaurant and bar staff were 5 star and the food was excellent. After a good nights sleep the checkout was fast and again courteous, well done all the staff involved

Artic temperature in the corridor, impossible to warm up the room until I discovered the extra heater in the closet, managed to reach an approx 20 degrees... Very sad breakfast as usual

I was initially put in a room with faulty noisey ac unit. I asked to move rooms. The second room was fine , the ac unit made a noise but nothing like the first room. I asked if a third room was available to check. The staff said ok but we are not changing you again . The third room was the worst due to aircraft noise. I asked if the second room or any other room was available, the reception staff on duty became hostile and argumentative. The receptionist on duty told me no quieter room was available and that I should not request a room change the next day. I was due to stay 2 nights but checked out early after the first night due to the hostile attitude of the staff in dealing with the issue.

Modern, large and quiet hotel. Large and modern rooms with great amenities. Only negatives are; shower is not very powerful and the door to the room let's in a lot of light from the hallway making it difficult to sleep. Lovely breakfast and large dining room.

We booked to break up the journey to the airport, wanted safe parking and somewhere nice & comfortable to get our heads down before heading abroad. The checking in and car parking process was great & the room looked sufficient for our needs. I'd read a review before I visited, which complained about the temperature of the rooms & unfortunately ours was no better. Ridiculously cold for this time of year, but thought we'd just wrap up and get on with it. The problem was that there was a noise coming form the air conditioning system all night as well so not much sleep was had by all....

The hotel was a nice enough looking place & looked good quality, the parking was ok but could have been better lit. Room was very cold & noise coming from air con system all night. Not ideal before going abroad!

I have used this facility on many occasions over the last 2 decades - travelling from the airport and holding 2 international conferences here. During this time it was under Hilton management and generally mediocre. Now it is under the Accor Hotels ownership the facility has undergone a dramatic change for the better - facilities, staff, food, cleanliness, service all vastly improved. .....the fact the the TV wasn’t working, reception were no help! As ordering room service is via the tv to get menu, had to ask for menu to be sent to my room....the staff providing this were lovely and helpful, but when one pays for a room, one expects everything to be in working order! I always try to use hotels in the Accor range. I'm familiar with the brands and know what to expect. The Stansted Novotel offers me excellent value for money, good size clean rooms, restaurant always has a broad and varied menu. The staff team make it for me. They clearly are managed well and they all work well with each other. On this occasion we had a hiccup with accommodation for a large family Christmas. I opted to stay here to ease the pressure on the host. I was helped out by a very professional young man by the name of Antonino. He had impeccable knowledge, interpersonal communication skills and was confident as well as assisting me on the occasions I required help. I also left the hotel leaving some personal effects. When I realised this... I rang the hotel, who were already aware of this and had already tried to contact me. Again, it was Antonino that came to the rescue. He seems to me a reliable asset to the staff team. He was able to see to everything perfectly efficiently and calmly. I hope after receiving this, you are able to thank him for me.

This is the second time we have stayed with you. It was acceptable and the rooms are more than adequate with a very comfy bed for a good nights sleep. I did notice on this occasion though that most of the hotel was quite cold, including the hall ways and the bar/restaurant area. There appeared to be little electric heaters plugged in throughout the bar area. Unfortunately they didn’t make much difference. We ended up going to our room earlier than we usually would as our room was warmer than anywhere else. Other than the heat issue I could not fault our stay. Customer service is fab and the food and drink was good. We would happily come and stay again.
