No heating, we ordered one to room Beds very hard mattress

Climatically a Problem: climatization in the room was too loud. So we switched off. Then got cold. The breakfast room was also too cold.

Location was OK. Breakfast was good. Overall i didnt think the stay offered value for money. For the following reasons 1. The room layout with the sink in the bedroom seemed odd and not particularly hygenic layout 2. The room had dust across bed lintels, bathroom corners as if cleaners skipped the corners a bit 3. The room rate didnt seem comparable for the room size 4. There was a lift that was out of order for 2 days of my stay meaning long queues to get up and down from the room particularly in the mornings or afternoons 5. Some of the staff were good and welcoming. Others i felt i had to work at engaging. I don't really want to hear staff whinge about who needs to do what behind the bar as i wait for a drink. Overall it was really average experience for me. Not the premium experience you promote and are aiming for. More attention to detail or reduce the nightly rate and up the premium experience. I wasnt even offered the promoted welcome drink at the reception. And regularly had to request more water to the room. So as i say i feel the offering didnt match expectations on this occassion. I’ve followed up with our Housekeeping team regarding the cleanliness, and I apologise if the room layout was not to your preference, this is one of our room types with the sink outside the bathroom. Regarding the lift, our team worked hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience it caused. I’ve also shared your comments with our F&B Manager to ensure staff handovers and internal discussions don’t happen in front of guests.
