Arrived, to a lovely cosy looking hotel. Raining outside so decided to have a quick shower (no soap in shower) and go down to the restaurant. Waitress wasn’t very welcoming and didn’t appear to like her job! We were then served a warm bottle of white wine. Had to order ice! Waited for chicken wings to start, which arrived cold. Didn’t complain again as felt awkward about the wine but then our steak and potato fries were also cold. Had no choice but to complain AGAIN. Which was embarrassing. The waitress agreed that the food was cold (really cold)! And offered another dish. We declined and were given popcorn as an alternative. Chicken wings and steak were taken from the bill. We stay in London on a regular basis for work but unfortunately due to this, will never recommend or stay in future.
