We stayed for one night, and it was perfect for everything we needed. Great location, close to stations, borough market and evening nightlife. The staff were friendly and lovely, 24 hours. The room had everything we needed. My only personal issue would’ve been the pillows. I would’ve preferred them fuller and softer, but that’s a personal opinion and didn’t affect my stay in any way!! I would definitely stay again!

It’s a cute and nice hotel, not far from London Bridge so good transport links. The staff were friendly at all times. The room was okay, I didn’t like the smell of carpet which smells dusty when windows were closed. And the bathroom has a see through glass, it can be made blurry. But when others are sleeping and one is showering they can see the light and it can be annoying.

Staff at reception were dull and lifeless. Every time I asked a question directly I was greeted with silence. The room was full of dust and made my wife’s dust allergy flare up, we slept with the windows open. The male staff member who sat us down for breakfast was great and friendly but the rest of the staff walked around like zombies.

Everything was perfect, staff were very helpful, location was great, borough market & tube were about a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was everything you could want, we are a family of 4 & the room was just what we expected,sofa bed was of a good size, housekeeping were helpful , we’ll be back !!

a one night stay as part of a family trip to London. Room was comfortable, breakfast very good and staff friendly. Just one very tiny bit of feedback - would be good for subtitles to work on the TV. The sound was not loud enough, which we assumed was in order to not disturb other guests, so subtitles would have helped overcome this.

Nice hotel but a few issues

The hotel in itself was nice but we encountered quite a few problems. Upon arriving we found what seemed to be blood on the curtains and smeared on the floor, no idea how this wasn’t discovered as rooms are supposed to be having deep cleans in light of covid. Reception were helpful and moved us, the room we were moved to though had a faulty shower so we could only use the small shower head and not the feature water fall shower. The main control was sharp and jagged though, so I wouldn’t let my children control it in case they hurt their hands. By this point we had unpacked and could not be bothered to try and move rooms again. We ordered room service one evening. After a 40 minute wait we chased out food to be told they’d missed our order. It eventually came at 21.15 after us ordering at 19.50. Not ideal with two young hungry children. When the food did arrive the chips were freezing, and after paying £4 extra for chicken on the salad there wasn’t any. We were given a 20% reduction of the bill, however after the wait and some of the food being cold it really didn’t seem adequate.

Personally I found the hotel really difficult to find but I walked from London Bridge train station and have no sense of direction. The hotel was tastefully adorned with Christmas decorations and the staff very efficient. We arrived early so checked our luggage in and went to have brunch at the Shard and then onto the London Eye- all very walkable. When we returned to our room it was a little on the small side but very comfortable all the same. We were a little surprised at the bathroom as it was on full display with clear windows so you could see everyone having a shower and going to the toilet...but then my daughter found a button that shaded the windows! The bed was super comfortable and even the sofa bed was a decent size for 2 teenagers. I paid for a room with a view but sadly it was very much lacking so I don't think it is worth the extra money. Breakfast was fabulous and plentiful..hot breakfast, meats and cheeses, yoghurts, pancakes, waffles etc. We to the bar in the evening with an amazing live singing act, had a few drinks and then went to bed. It was my husband's 50th so it was lovely that the staff left a card and put a flashing sign in the room saying 'Happy birthday'! Would most definitely recommend!

Returned to the same hotel at the end of our trip. Smaller room than before (a minus) but the window could be opened completely (a big plus). Overall very good service and value for money. The breakfast staff were outstanding! Would definitely return

We stayed at this hotel for a week in order to attend a wedding. We specifically picked this hotel for its location (not far from where our daughter lives) and also its convenience for visiting the various places we wanted to go to. From check-in through to when we left the staff were very nice and helpful, particularly John and Tim on reception. The room was very nice as was the hotel in general, to the point that we have decided that this is our go to London hotel for future trips.

The hotel was in an excellent location for our itinerary. It was comfortable and clean throughout. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, as was the food in the bar. The only real criticism would be the lighting in the room, which was a little inadequate particularly in the wardrobe area.
