Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant area was very nice. I also had dinner there once, and the burger was really good. The only aspect that I think could be improved is the room. The bed was comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom, but the lighting was quite poor. There were only two lights in the room, both fairly generic, with no dedicated reading light or a lamp specifically for desk work. A couple more power sockets would also have been very helpful. I had to juggle chargers overnight to power my phone, watch, and work laptop for the following day. These are minor issues, but precisely because they are minor, I believe they can be easily improved and would make an already nice experience even better.

Novotel is really well located and has on site secure parking. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, not the norm for city centres! But what makes this place is the team! Everyone was super friendly, helpful and clearly enjoying themselves as much as they wanted their guests to. Gonçalo is a hero, couldn’t do enough to help and was full of joy! We’ll be back
