I had a really good time staying at Novotel Birmingham Centre. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around and perfect for a short family visit. Everything we needed was close by, which made the trip much more convenient and enjoyable. The rooms were excellent—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The facilities throughout the hotel were also great and well maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. A special mention goes to the receptionist who checked me in. He was excellent—friendly, welcoming, and professional. What stood out most was that he took the time to have a genuine conversation, which was a refreshing change and made the check-in feel much more personal. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and family-friendly, and the staff we encountered were helpful throughout our stay. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m next in town and would happily recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Birmingham.

The hotel was located perfectly for our needs, but the issues faced were extremely disappointing. The mini fridge almost toppled on a 6yr old, due to uneven front legs causing it to fall forward when opened. The sofabed by the window was sagging in the middle, and as my sister tried to sleep (who is tiny), the bed broke in the middle causing her to further sink into the same area. It was already midnight and not feasible with a 6yr old trying to sleep to report immediately. (Both above issues were reported.) Additional issues that were annoying moreso. The room was booked for 3 adults and 1 child, yet the room included 2 mugs, enough milk/drink sachets/teabags for 2 and we didn't have enough towels. The hotel caters for many needs, staff were polite, with a lovely breakfast and facilities, however, the rooms would benefit immensely by a makeover. We absolutely loved the Rituals hand wash, body wash and shampoo available for use!

Disgusting layout of the toilet and sink/bathroom. Very unhygienic. Also showers not working as they should unable to regulate water temperature. Almost thankful did not stay for longer.
