Having stayed at the Ibis Sutton several nights already and am familiar with the area, I was surprised at what you get for around £10-12/night more from the Adagio Aparthotel. Starting with a room almost twice the size which includes a Bosch integrated washer/dryer, dish washer, cooktop, fridge and microwave oven in a well furnished kitchen (crockery/glasses/pots/...). While there are ample dining options within 5 mins walking distance, over a few nights cooking simple meals does pay off.

I had a pleasant surprise and was given an upgrade. However, initially I was very confused as I had an email from All Accor confirming my booking, then one from Adagio!! I had to call to ask if there had been a mistake. It would have been helpful if it had been explained in the email, to save me wasting time calling the customer services number. The Adagio apartment was a welcome surprise and included a kitchen. we went out and bought some food for breakfast the next day. We tried to use what we thought was the grill but no grill pan, so unable to make toast. I asked about a toaster and was told they had taken the toasters of out the apartments due to the smoke alarm being set off regularly. So a great idea to have a kitchen but not as functional as we'd hoped. Great to have a regular size fridge too.

I booked Ibis (have stayed there several times) and was offered a free upgrade to the Aparthotel. It was a beautiful, very spacious studio with fully equipped kitchen and large shower in the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. It was quiet and I slept very well.
