Happy with room, especially as informed of free upgrade on arrival. Couple of places could have been cleaned a bit better but overall very good. Very useful having cooking facilities to keep costs down. Don’t even have to wash-up as dishwasher was available plus ability to do it the long way. Loved the availability of a fridge/freezer which was the drawback of not even having a mini-fridge in Ibis room.Would certainly book one of these rooms again if needed another longer stay.

When we arrived to the room we had very strong smell of urine( probably it was a pet in the room before) and it was dirty floor in the bathroom. Next day housekeepers cleaned it again. Tower rail was broken, it was fixed only after few days. Fridge didn’t close properly. It was a lot of water(condensate) inside. Later it was fixed. It will be wonderful if the rooms will be checked by staff before you check in people into the room. As a lot of amenities is out of order and customers should ask for help. It was a case with my another booking (my friend stayed in room 713) . I prepared for early check in 50£. The staff in hotel even didn’t know that early check in is from 10am, I should prove them . There was no available room for early check in as hotel was fully booked. How it is possible? If the room was paid and early check in prepared how it happened that all rooms was fully booked and check in at 10am was not provided. We love to stay in Adagio, but those things make our stay very unpleasant.

We sincerely apologise for the significant shortcomings you encountered, which clearly made your visit far less pleasant than it should have been. The issues you have described, the unpleasant smell and cleanliness upon arrival, the broken towel rail and malfunctioning fridge, and the confusion and failure regarding the pre-paid early check-in—are unacceptable. They point to clear failures in our housekeeping inspections, maintenance follow-up, and internal communication. Your constructive suggestion that rooms should be thoroughly checked prior to guest arrival is absolutely correct, and we are reinforcing this protocol with our teams. We are particularly concerned that this follows a pattern from a previous booking. Please accept our deepest apologies for the frustration and inconvenience caused. Your feedback has been escalated to our Head of Housekeeping, Maintenance Manager, and Front Office Manager for urgent review and action to prevent recurrence. To address this properly, please contact me directly at the hotel. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further and to assist with any future bookings to ensure they meet the high standard you expect and deserve.
