The room was ok but the extra we paid for having a kitchen was not worth it. We couldn't even make a slice of toast for breakfast. On our first night we went down to the restaurant. What a joke! A basic pizza menu was on the bar, one person behind a beer and a laptop. We didn't stay as after 5 minutes we couldn't find anyone to serve us - we even called into the kitchen... As we're in Sutton for 3 weeks during cancer treatment I went to book another week only to find a nearly 20,% increase. No way! You'll not see us again. Much nicer at the Holiday Inn!

The actual apartment was very well equipped, with a good-sized bed and everything you would need for a stay. The staff at the front of house were very pleasant and friendly. Check-in was easy. My low score was the breakfast, which we paid over £12 per person for. The coffee machine had no milk (apparently, this was still the same on the 2nd day; we had friends who stayed for the 2nd night). Dried scrambled egg, not many pastries, and the toaster only toasted one side of the bread. Everything looked bland. We only had some yoghurt and a black coffee, which was definitely not worth the cost of the breakfast. Very disappointed and would not recommend paying extra for the breakfast

We stay here anytime we are in London. Love the room and services. Only negative is the light over the kitchen eating area. It was not working when we stayed there in 2024, and it’s still not working from our last stay in March 2025
