Arrived early but, because I'm an ALL member, the gentleman on the front desk checked me in early without charge. A really nice gesture. He then advised me about breakfast being cheaper if you book it the night before. I already had breakfast plans, but it was great to be informed. Rooms were simple, but comfy. Good WiFi, high quality tea and, crucially, I got a great night's sleep. Would undoubtedly go back.

Good location. Hotel appearance looking tired. Arrived at hotel, room a was ok, overlooking the themes, the carpet was stained but otherwise clean. Windows were openand ac on, it was a hot day. Went out for evening and closed windows before leaving the room. On return, an awful smell hit you as soon as the door was opened, a smell like sewage but a lot, lot worse, I have a very strong stomach but there was no way I could have slept in this room. I went straight to reception to report but they didn't seem surprised, the lady said it can sometimes happen, something to do with the themes. They moved us to a different room on the otherwise of the hotel stating if we moved to a different floor the problem would probably still be the same. The second room was fine. However the water took forever to run away in the sink. In general the stay was ok bit I probably wouldn't return. On a plus side the breakfast was lovely. All food was fresh and hot and a great choice.

Check in was ultra quick due to having all the necessary info ahead of time. Room was a decent size for the rate Bed quite comfortable and fairly clean Bathroom worked quite well but due to some wear and tear issues had some oxidized build up where the plastic panel met near the floor , this could do with a good script b down with CLR or Lime away or similar product Few more coat hangers please , one hook was all bent Nice coffee tray set up Batons for the draperies and sheers would help prevent tears to the fabric as they were a bit stiff to pull The extra plug on the luggage bench was a nice touch
