Paid extra for late checkout to be woken up twice by staff knocking on the door

We paid £40 extra for a late checkout of 5pm as we had an overnight event and needed somewhere to sleep during the day. We were then woken up at 1pm and then again at 2pm by staff knocking at our door to ask when we were checking out which was frustrating as we were asleep and had paid to be left to sleep until 5pm! We had been awake all night due to an event and really needed this sleep. We also weren't able to get back into our room in the morning, presumably because the late checkout hadn't been applied to our card. Overall it was a frustrating experience that we paid £145 for! The room was basic and bedding wasn't on the bed properly and there was a sticker on the flat sheet for some reason. Otherwise it was clean. AC didn't work. TV was very slow. Bathroom was cramped.

Antonio the supervisor is was amazing a colleague was a little worst for wear and he totally stepped up and helped us with a wheelchair. What an lovely guy he is he went above and beyond to help us with our awkward situation.
