Room clean and comfortable. However the online check in doesn't work when you arrive at 3.30pm to be told the staff need to check there is a room ready before you can collect your keys. Also no bar snacks or light bites available in the evening

My booking had to be moved twice (each by a year) due to COVID. Both times the hotel manager was more than helpful, keeping me informed re when the new dates/rates were available etc., and then keeping my room rate the same as my original booking. I was very impressed. On arrival, check in was quick and easy, the room was clean and basic (but nothing less than what was required), and it was useful that the bar was open when we returned after our show at the O2 so that we could have a coffee and relax and relive our musical experience. Unfortunately the cable car across the Thames was not working either way, so we ended up having to call an Uber, but that is certainly no fault of the hotel, the location would have been even more convenient if the cable car had worked, but was certainly not too far out of the way. Breakfast and checkout just as simple, and Novotel parking was charged at "guest rates" which we appreciated.

The room was beautifully clean and the location was ideal for our visit to the O2. The hotel was experiencing technical issues when we arrived so, check-in was somewhat frought, although I assume that this is not the typical experience.

Having paid upfront and taking advantage of booking in online 48 hours before arrival, to speed up checking . So all i had to do was pick up my room cards. On arrival i was greeted with nobody maning the chevking desk and lots of groups of people sitting down . When i finally got to speak to someone i was told i would have to wsit until 3pm.. and to go and find a seat. A small wait of 30 mins i went back to the check in desk to be told i could not check in as there internet was still down from swapping servers and the person did not know how long it was going to be. A fellow guest said they had checked ppl in manually yesterday . So i assume this issue had not started on friday .. Upon requesting to speak to a manger , after all i had allready checked in online .. A young man came out asked my name and said there was 1 computer working making room cards . After showning him all my emails and details to prove to Him i had already checked in .. i was issued with 2 room cards for a room on the third floor We picked up our bags and headed up to our room . What greeted us was a room that had not been serviced . The bed had not been made dirty showrr pod and empty glasses on the side ( we took pictures to show the checking staff).. i went back to check , just as a fellow guest was checking and i said i hope your room is clean and ready ,, i went on to speak and show the pictures to the person who had check me in only for one of his collegues to burst out laughting ( im glad your staff think this is funny ) we got given a room which was clean and had been service In the morning at approx 10 am i am in the shower and my wife is in bed and the maid/ room service person just opened the door and was walking in . If my wife had not shouted she would of continued , there was no knock at the door NOTHiNG Upon checking out the lady on checkout desk was the only member of your staff that showed any intrested and offered to pay any parking fees , as we had come by train this was not anything we could use ..
