Excellent location and a great breakfast; the staff were friendly, and the hotel offered good value for the price. However, among the main issues and downsides of my stay, I must mention that while the room was clean and tidy, the shower design was not very well thought out. In addition, the drain from both the shower and the sink smelled of dirt, even when air freshener was used. However, I consider the main problem to be having to request a breakfast package on the night of our departure, even though we had already requested it via email before our arrival. We were told to request the package at check-in, which we did. We were assured it would be ready. The day before departure, we reminded the front desk of our request—“just to be sure.” Upon departure, we were surprised to find that the package wasn’t ready and the staff knew nothing about it. However, I appreciate their effort to put something together at the last minute, even though the package didn’t quite meet the standard we expected for the price of breakfast. I get the feeling there was a bit of chaos there. Overall, though, the experience was fine.
