Good location for both Central London and Docklands with good disabled access to Elizabeth line and DLR, with brilliant staff who could not be more helpful … but alas no disabled spaces in car park and exit too narrow too allow my adapted vehicle out easily (i.e. multiple shuffles needed to inch across to exit gate); and our “accessible room" barely lived up to name with furniture needing to be shuffled to get access to wet room and the basin too high for a wheelchair user. The friendly helpful staff made up for the short comings of the building hence a solid 9/10 but just needs a little more thought about the needs of disabled guests.

The young lady who checked us went above and beyond as i booked the wrong Ibis location (Canary Wharf) but have previously stayed at Excel. She called Canary Wharf to try to get a refund but was unsuccessful. Both locations state "Docklands" in the description so that was very confusing. She booked a room for us immediately at Excel Docklands. I would like Canary Wharf would refund me the pre-paid night since we stayed at Excel. Ibis needs to be more customer friendly - like your employee.
