Evening disrupred by a fire alarm during which no member of staff supervised our evacuation or attended the fire exit to ensure complete evacuation or advise when it was safe to return. On phoning reception, i was advised there were not enough member of staff on to supervise evacuation. Mattress and pillows were thin and of poor quality so sleep was very disturbed.

Lovely and helpful staff. Got given a comp upgrade and drinks vouchers upon arrival which was awesome! Good breakfast and the room was really nice, especially the blackout windows. Only little nitpick was having a housekeeper come into our room at 10am on the morning of departure before we had a chance to announce that we’re still inside. Other than that, absolutely perfect.

In Edinburgh to see ‘The High Life” at the Festival Theatre. Just a short walk from the hotel to the theatre. Also very convenient for visiting the National Galleries of Scotland, and for local eating places. A great few days. We’ll be back.

Stayed here for my vacation to Edinburgh for 3 nights . This was an excellent choice with location being in Royal mile where all the attractions are threre . We can walk to all the locations like Castle , Palace , Museum etc . There is a bus stop just opposite to Hotel in case you want to move to city . For Airport link we just need to walk in 5-7 mins and get into link bus . They served traditional Scottish. Breakfast as well which was nice ! Over all great place to stay ! Very helpful receptionist, Elizabeth. I called the day before our stay. Very polite manner, and so helpful. When we arrived she remembered speaking to me. We had an early check-in because I gave loyalty points Elizabeth listened to me and accommodated me with a room close to the elevator, as a have a disability. Was so very helpful , an absolute asset to your team .
