We recently stayed at the ibis Edinburgh South Bridge and had a great experience. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to most must-see attractions like the Royal Mile and St Andrew’s Square and many more. We most definitely recommend doing the Scotch Whisky Experience, just a short walk from the hotel. It was a must-do, offering an absolutely fantastic tour in our case that included dinner at the end. The food was fantastic. As the hotel is on a busy street, it could be a bit noisy, so we opted for a room on the higher floors. Our room was simple and modern, albeit a bit compact, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was a little different, resembling something you would expect on a cruise ship—compact but practical. Overall, the ibis Edinburgh South Bridge offered great value, a prime location, and convenient amenities. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Edinburgh.

Staff very friendly. Room clean. Bed very comfortable. Room felt basic with lack of some items supplied in other hotels eg hand towels, tissues, shower safety mat, no extractor fan in shower room. Room rate expensive.

This hotel has a very good location in the old town of Edinburgh and this is also a dog friendly hotel too. The staffs are very friendly especially reception staffs are very helpful and the room is clean. Very value for money to stay a night for a weekend with my dog.
