I'm trying to build loyalty with the hotel chain; this is the second time I've stayed at an Ibis, and this time in London, there were things that left something to be desired. There are no face towels, no drinking water in the rooms, and when requested at the bar they give us tap water. The flush button was broken. Inattentive reception staff, they didn't provide basic information during check-in. I work at a three-star hotel in Dublin and expected the basics from a large chain like Ibis.

Room doors were loud, some corridor noise, some street noise. Pod bathroom was fine but could hear bathroom noise from other rooms. Room was not super clean. Blinds typically darkened some but light seeped in from above. Bed was slightly slanted to one side. Air con worked but wouldn't stay with the chosen temperature. Got cold at night and had to get restarted. Monday fire alarm test at 11 am was poorly timed. Bar and foyer at ground level seemed nice, didn't test. Just too many issues for a nice stay.
