A very long and complicated check-in for my daughters. Receptionist (with ponytail) was extremely difficult and not willing to check-in my daughters although the hotel bill was already paid. The manager on duty(who did not come out of his office) did not agree either to check them in because I (father) made the reservation.The manager was not willing to talk to me by phone.

I was generally happy with my overnight stay, especially as the room was pleasantly quiet on a Friday night. The location's very convenient being close to the TfL stations. My only disappointment was check-in. I'd assumed that having checked-in online well before I arrived that getting my room key would be quick, but the check-in staff were asking everyone for proof of identity or to show their booking confirmation, and with several groups arriving around the same time I waited about ten minutes while they all sorted themselves out. Is this a new requirement, or is it specific to London generally or this Ibis in particular? As you have all my details on record already I'm not clear what advantage there is to online check-in. Otherwise all was well and I would certainly book again.
