Arrived early following tiring overnight flight; having booked early room we were still too early but a room was made available for us thanks to management, as an exception,taking a flexible approach to normal rules. Thanks ... really appreciated. Have stayed at Ibis Blackfriars before and will definitely return. Great location being only 200 yards from Southwark Tube and close to the Thames. Thanks again.

We stayed for 2 nights when visiting our son. We loved the central location very close to Southwark tube station. We also loved the spacious lounge downstairs with bar facilities till late. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

The ibis was located next to a tube station & near the globe theatre where we went to see a play. It was comfortable although basic. The staff were very helpful

Good experience. Your front office team are wonderful. Very helpful and welcoming. All of them. The team at breakfast could be a little friendlier they are not so bubbly or warm and the front office team.

Great stay apart from a cold shower

We really enjoyed the comfort and location of our stay, however we experienced no hot water when we needed to get a shower and were therefore subject to freezing cold showers for that day. This was the only dampener in what was a great stay. Other than this I would give it a solid 9/10

Well located for the tube

Upon arriving at the blackfriars ibis I was extremely disappointed to be told we could not check into our family room as it was still occupied. Apparently these occupants had requested a late check out upon arrival as they too were members. So after a delayed journey and having our toddler with us we were given access to a room to leave our luggage but told we had to be back at the hotel before 8PM to then change our rooms. This was a massive inconvenience as it disrupted our plans and subsequently ruined our 1st day of our trip as it meant ibis were dictating how are time was spent. I mentioned this to your duty manager victor who looked not really bothered and fobbed us off with a drink. Much planning went into this trip and it very much felt like we lost a day due to having return back to the hotel to swap rooms. Surely a system must be in place to stop things like this from happening. Look forward to hearing from you

Rich breakfast, friendly stuff. Staff very well prepared and trained. There was an evacuation without panic in the event of a fire hazard. Stuff gave instructions and solved all problems.

Usual efficient welcome; clean and tidy room. Plus the front desk staff were great in responding to a nasty fall I had outside the hotel. I was very shaken and they brought me a cup of tea and were keen to check if I needed anything else. Can’t remember their names - sorry.
