Very basic, well located but very clean, Also for £8.50 a cracking breakfast, staff amazing and soooo helpful 5star " the basic comment is not a derogatory one as that is what accommodation we were looking for on this trip, as only in hotel as a base to shower and sleep as our trip was very busy." But had everything you needed, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, extra pillows, kettle, but had to pick up at reception if required, (A small fee of £2.50 for tea and coffee, biscuits at reception if required).

Tina was very welcoming and extremely helpful. Room was perfect for one night. Hotel is well located, 2 miles from the shops and iow ferry.

I stayed here for one night as I was in Portsmouth for a meeting. The hotel staff were very professional and welcoming. The hotel itself is simple but I didn't expect any more for the price. The room was simple and clean and had everything I needed. Would recommend if looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful for a night or two.
