The hotel was conveniently located to several convenience shops and eateries as well as approximately equidistant to either Aldgate east or Whitechapel train stations for our commute. Our room was neat and basic as advertised and just about enough room for two people. The breakfast provided added more value. There was a wide selection of continental breakfast options. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly and courteous. Overall, the whole experience was well worth the money we paid for our short 3 night stay.

I had a back-to-back reservation at this hotel and chose it mainly because of the location and the price. Unfortunately, my first room was extremely dusty. When I touched the chair, I felt quite uncomfortable because it was very dusty and made of plastic. The window was also covered with a white screen, so there was no proper view. In addition, there was a noticeable curry smell throughout the hotel. At least they provided two bottles of water in the room. For my second stay, the room was cleaner than the first one, and the windows could be opened and were transparent, which was much better. However, this time there was no water in the room. I asked housekeeping to bring some, but it was never delivered. They said there is no service like that . The street outside the hotel felt very unsettling. Walking there made me feel unsafe, I felt Im living with el kaide !! I have traveled to places like Egypt and Dubai before and never experienced this kind of feeling. Unfortunately, I even witnessed a theft right in front of the hotel. There is also a mosque right next to the property, and the overall atmosphere on the street felt intimidating. There was nothing to do around the area, and overall it did not feel like a safe or comfortable environment. Reception team was really nice but I when I come 2:15 pm they didn’t give me my room because check in starts at 3. From a guest satisfaction perspective, you shouldn’t make guests wait for a clean room just because check-in officially starts at 3 PM. I didn’t arrived at 10 AM and I did not ask for an early check-in.

Its basic and clean... if you are travelling with someone you don't know well, the shower and WC are a bit awkward as is the sink in the room. Like most hotels, no-where enough hooks to hang your clothes...

The rooms are ok, but they charge extra for everything, from waterboiler to late checkout etc.

Sirens from nearby hospital literally went off the entire night. Was simply not practical. I was told in the morning that I could asked for a quiet room but that’s even worse - you know it’s impossible to sleep in some rooms yet still offer the .
