The Hotel had a number of visiting school classes, but the staff took care to oirganise the breakfast to minimise the queuing and waiting. They were friendly and made everything work fine. The interior was in a modern functional style, that worked fine.

Very well situated and does the trick, providing us a totally correct place to sleep. What does one need more? Clean room, a bit small perhaps, but then again, what does one need more. It’s a perfect place to go on a trip into the city.

Basic but comfortable

When they said no frills that is exactly what they meant. The room was clean and comfortable but could have been designed a little better. The full length mirror was against a wall in a dark corner and where you needed to stand to look in it was a shelf with room to hang clothes underneath - a little more thought needed. There was no noise from other residents though and the bathroom (wetroom) was clean and serviceable with hot water and clean towels.

I was there several times and already last November I noticed a change in the quality of the services of the hotels (may-be a change of Director?). I decided to book another time in this hotel to give it a last chance (also because we hold the Silver fidelity card of the Accord group). In two words: the stay confirmed my latest impressions. It is definitively not as before. The personnel is still gentle but the accomodation was not as expected, the shower in the bathroom worked not very well and the breakfast was not satisfying.

The main management of the hotel has been the same since August 2018 and other than that it is only the staff that has changed as in any other hotel. We try on a daily basis our utmost in order to provide the best service to our guests and this has not changed during the past 2 years. Following this, the feedback we received from our guests has been getting increasingly better. Such has been the improvement that as of today, this ibis budget is scoring on quality of service the best score any ibis budget in the UK has ever scored, which is a historic (positive) achievement for us. We are also leading on friendliness in the London region, ahead of all the Novotel, Mercure, Pullman and ibis hotels of the city. In any case, I am sorry we did not live up to your expectations on this occasion and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Enjoyed the stay. Hotel was very clean. Would have liked if there was a kettle for tea or coffee. Unfortunately loud banging noise each morning which was dusturbing but apart from that it was a pleasant experience and I’m satisfied.

Usually happy with this IBIS Budget due to good location and clean rooms. Had to check in a little later this time (just after 8pm) & without pre-notification was allocated a special needs room which was not that comfortable & everything was at a wrong height. Would have thought I would get a reduction on the price as obviously it was not the room I had booked! Hopefully this was a one off experience.
