I have been staying in The Ibis Budget Brick Lane for the last two years whilst working in Whitechapel.The rooms are of an adequate size. Always very clean and well maintained . The food for those who partake in breakfast is always well presented and always fresh and a good selection prevails . The staff are very professional ,very welcoming and work so well together as a team.

I’ve used the Ibis several times before and been very happy. This hotel was a major let down. I will think twice about using Ibis again

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Ibis Budget, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. As I said, I am very sorry to read about your disappointment. Our product (ibis budget standard) is what it is and I am afraid there is not much margin for us to change that. We, as the rest of the ibis budgets do not offer hair dryer inside the rooms or shampoo, although we can provide this upon request (something we do out of our own will and in order to "avoid" the said brand standards). We are indeed very different from an ibis red or an ibis styles, which may feel as upscale brands sometimes if compared to us. However, we try to compensate this with the service. I can be proud to say that this hotel is consistently the second best hotel for Accor London properties in what concerns service and friendliness (above every single Novotel, Mercure or ibis, and only behind our colleagues of ibis Styles Gloucester Road). It is for this reason that I would like you to provide me, at your earliest convenience, with more details about who welcomed you and how, since I would like to address this to the person/s concerned. The hotel was convenient and easy to locate a short walk from the tube station. We were greeted warmly by staff on arrival and given all relevant information. I had checked in online so everything was ready for us. The main reason for choosing this hotel was because we were a group of three and we wanted to share a room altogether so we booked a NEST room. The room was small but appropriate for our needs as we just needed somewhere to sleep and get changed. It was clean and the en suite facilities were excellent. This is a no frills hotel so towels and soap is provided but there is no kettle etc. in the room - we were aware of this so just brought a travel kettle with us - there are plenty of shops / eateries near by and the hotel is within walking distance to the brick lane area where there are some lovely shops / market etc.

Nice as always: everythink OK (as always in the past); except: a)only one elevator working; b) a litlle bit disturbing welcome - I was told that my credit card was not working (what in fact was not true...).

I am a frequent guest at Accor / Ibis hotels. I vary my stay between 'normal' Ibis, Style, Budget, Mercure, Novotel, so I am used to a difference in standards. But this hotel is truly awful, no redeeming qualities at all. The look and feel is of an outdated hostel, the staff don't care one bit, the bed is poor, there are no facilities to speak of, I can go on. Never will I stay at this dreary place again.

The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was also nice and had loads of different taste options. The staff was really helpful with the check-in, even though there were some complications from our part. But overall a very nice hotel, at an affordable price. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Shower drainage was poor so that every shower resulted in standing water. Room was on the chilly side even with the air temperature control unit on highest setting.

I had one of the newer rooms; it was basic but nicely laid out and comfortable. The pillows were pretty firm though and the duvet was thin. Service was great, I had an issue with the sink and shower not draining but Pedro sorted it for me quickly.

Everything matched my expectations, decent location between two tube stations, nice rooms, big enough, clean and modern, the TV is a bit small but it wasn't an issue for me, breakfast was good for the price with decent options. A really good value for money in London.
