Reception friendly and helpful. Great bathroom with good shower. Fantastic breakfast, good quality tasty bacon and eggs, lovely pain au chocolate. Directly over the road from Canning Town tube, couldn’t be easier, decently priced. Would 100% stay again. All staff helpful.

Super hotel. Always spotlessly clean. Comfy beds. Amazing selection at breakfast. Staff are always on hand should you have any questions. Quite restaurant/Bar area with sofas and armchairs. Literally across the road from Canning Town underground, DLR and bus stations. Perfect for 02, Excel, even central London is only 20mins.

I had a lovely weekend in London, and as a woman travelling on her own, I felt very safe at the hotel. Being able to sit in the bar, eat as a female solo traveller and feel safe was very important to me. I was really happy to go back to the hotel knowing my room was clean, I had a comfortable bed and a decent TV. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the IBIS Canning Town, I was extremely impressed.

We booked here for one night in a sweet twin room for my sister and I to stay in. The twin beds are pushed together but you can move the side tables and put a small space between the beds even so. The breakfast was very good and we both enjoyed it. It was also close to the O2 arena with only one tube station away from the hotel and a 4 min walk to the hotel which was really convenient. It's ok for a one night stay to see a concert.

Very clean and comfortable room. Front of house staff very helpful and engaging. The bar area had a nice atmosphere to relax in and the location is perfect for travel across the city being literally opposite the tube station. A hotel we would defintely use again. Scored 9 rather than 10 as bar menu was very limited and no options for gluten intolerance (rather than allergy). Other eateries available locally....

Stayed with daughter for one night while we shopped in London. We always stay here. Great hotel. Lots of ambiance in the bar and eating area. Ideal for underground, across the road and buses . Plenty of places to eat and supermarket on doorstep. Also feel very safe round here Also ideal for O2 Staff are lovely and room perfectly clean and usually quiet but on this occasion extremely noisy neighbours but not the hotels fault. And quiet once they’d gone to bed. Will definitely return

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at ibis London Canning Town! The location is simply perfect. Situated right next to the Underground and bus station, the hotel is an ideal starting point for exploring London. There is also a Starbucks, two supermarkets and a McDonald’s right nearby. Although, to be honest, you hardly need the McDonald’s because the pizza served at the hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is also excellent for business travellers. Both the ExCeL Exhibition Centre and London City Airport can be reached within just a few minutes by public transport. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the wonderful team at reception and the bar. Their friendliness, helpfulness and genuinely positive attitude created such a welcoming atmosphere. I would particularly like to highlight one member of staff whose name, unfortunately, I never managed to find out. During our stay, I had to receive quite a large number of parcels at the hotel. He went above and beyond to help me with everything, showing incredible patience, kindness and genuine enthusiasm. No matter what I needed, he was always there with a smile on his face and an infectious sense of good humour. It is people like him who turn a good hotel stay into a truly memorable experience. His positive energy and outstanding hospitality made a real difference to our visit, and I sincerely hope this compliment reaches him. He absolutely deserves the recognition! For me, ibis London Canning Town is by far the best ibis hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything just works: the location, the atmosphere, the food and, most importantly, the people who make guests feel genuinely welcome. If this concept and, above all, this exceptional level of hospitality were adopted across other ibis hotels, I would certainly choose ibis much more often when travelling. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily return and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!
