When checking in, the one gentleman was very helpful. So I set a high expectation of the rest of the stay. I informed front desk that my husband will be arriving a little later so if I could leave a key? They confirmed this was fine and to give his contact details etc. Upon my husbands arrival which was around 1am, I get multiple missed calls from him saying reception will not let him up. A huge ruckus was being caused. If this was going to be the case, then I would have stayed awake and come down to reception to bring him up. When I spoke to reception about this in the morning they simply said to just complain. I’m sure you can appreciate for a couple flying out in the morning, we did not need the disruption.

Hotel is located just across the road from Birmingham airport. Room was clean and of a decent size. Very busy at check-in as only 1 member of staff trying to do everything. Bar very busy and difficult to get a seat. Food OK and not too expensive.
