Complicated Parking System

Good hotel. Food was pleasant and value for money. The Parking was only available in car park 1 and the price stated was £45 overnight, when we only paid £34 for the room!! Due to red lines everywhere we couldn't access the hotel to clarify parking situation. After ringing hotel they said they had a voucher which would reduce price. We had to ask again when we booked in and were pleasantly surprised when we only had to pay £12. This reduction should be advertised on the booking form . If we had not asked would we have had to pay £45.

Poor pedestrian access

I booked 4 nights but checked out after 2, as soon as I could find alternative accommodation. Parking in the airport multi storey meant a long walk around roads with continuous railings, which made pedestrian access difficult. Walking back from the multi storey car park, alone at night to go back to the hotel was very unpleasant. Room was basic but comfortable enough, the communal areas were bland, dark and had no ambience.

Absolutely fantastic. 10 paces from the airport door. Clean, posh, gorgeous. Superfriendly staff extremely helpful and accommodating. All this for the price I paid having missed my flight late at nite? Ridiculous. Exceptionally good value considering the standard of the hotel and proximity to airport doors.

On arrival we were greeted and dealt with quickly and efficiently by leigha on the front desk, we went to our room which was spotless and comfortable, as bars were closing at 10pm we quickly went and got a drink from the bar and again served by leigha who was quick and knowledgable behind the bar even taking time out to chat to us which was lovely. We had a great nights sleep and checked out the next morning for a flight.

Parking is a nightmare and very expensive

This is a perfect Hotel for staying close to Birmingham International Airport and the facility’s are excellent, the room was very comfortable and easy access, coffee & tea in room and just a five easy minute walk from the airport. We came by train so this was so simple and we will stay again, very impressed with the simple check in prior to arrival, all went very well. Well done this is how hotels should be run!
