Lovely staff, lovely food, room tired, no sleep. Floorboards above creaked to the point of a whole hour in the middle of the night, when guests in room above came back, it sounded like they were moving all the furniture.

Had booked a privilege room. It was well equiped and clean. Bed was comfortable. Had booked a deal with dinner on first night. When we checked in the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. We booked with her a table for dinner. However on going to the dining room (Bistro) at the allocated time we found it closed. Went back to reception and were advised hotel was very quiet that night and food was being served in the Bar. Dinner was reasonable value and an acceptable standard. As with previous stays the best thing about this hotel, apart from the handy location, is the staff. They were all very friendly. Have stayed here before and no doubt will return.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff The room was fine but good do with some updating The main issue was the noise as there is no soundproofing at all, you could hear what people were saying in the room next door and not just in the hallway

The room was basic, clean enough but a fairly shabby bathroom, lack of proper bedside cabinets and not enough electrical outlets for the modern world. There were no sockets located next to the bed either.

We really enjoyed our stay and were surprised to have a lovely separate sitting room as well as a very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The staff at reception and the restaurant/breakfast room were great. The hotel is in an excellent location for the city centre and has on-site car park.
