Bed for the night and cheeper than the rest

Stayed after a weekend away and late flight into Luton airport. Check in was difficult, was told computers not working, so had to be rebooted, and once got key it didn’t work so had to go back to reception to be let into room with a master key. This didn’t feel particularly safe. Room was just about OK tho the carpet was very worn and stained which was off-putting. Shower alright although water pressure could have been much better. All in all I was glad to leave the next day and I’d question whether to stay in an Ibis ever again. Positives: staff were helpful and kind given the situation they were dealing with, and it was cheap (so perhaps you get what you say for!).
