Disappointing

Rooms are tiny and badly lit. Shower pressure is awful & temperature is not stable. Bed sheets are clean & beds are comfortable but carpets are old and therefore don't look very clean. Staff downstairs are trying to be helpful but due to their limited number they can't greet & serve customers properly. Won't visit again.

Living nightmare

We felt personally attack by the supervisor we had a 3 TERRIBLE nights room being cold my daughter had to leave a day earlier due to her illness SICKEL CELL DISEASE and even ended up in hospital with in the week

Worst Ibis we have ever stayed in

Unwelcoming reception area. Filthy carpets in all public areas. Stained bedroom carpet. Overnight parking charges are at best illegal and at worst underhand. No mention of £11 charge when booking online. Bed was at least comfortable.

Disappointing took the dog with us, car park and outside areas full of litter. Why at £11 a night are you unwilling to keep it clean.

Stayed prior to a flight from Luton so looking for somewhere near the airport, where you were able to get a good meal and a good nights sleep and it hit the mark for all these. Staff were slow in taking our food order and I had to chase them up but bar service was good and we were easily able to get more tea and milk for the room. Since our last stay the bathrooms had been upgraded and were a great improvement from previously.

Low cost but disappointing stay

Positives: very helpful and friendly staff during every interaction. Good, reasonably priced food, with option to take to our room. Able to get a parking space every evening (there for 3 nights). Low nightly rates (although extra for parking). Negatives: very small room, window barely opened and no air con so could get warm/stuffy. Tv volume was either very quiet or very loud. Shower water pressure was very low, and volatile temperature - changed from cold to scolding hot in seconds without touching the temperature dial. Service vehicles arrived and noisily loaded/unloaded directly under our window at 6am, which woke us up due to lots of crashing. Overall review: despite low cost of room we’d look to book a different hotel if staying in the same area again unfortunately. It didn’t meet the usual standard we have come to expect from Ibis hotels.

This hotel is in a good location if you don’t mind a 10 min walk. That was not my issue. What I found bad was the fact I wasnt able to use the restaurant for dinner as was told fully booked, which is poor when nothing else around. Had to do uber eats. Then to top it off as only provided one pillow , I asked for an extra. Was told no, as no spare ones . I thought this was very bad . I in the end had a terrible night sleep .

We were travelling on an early flight so requested a quiet room for an early night, on arrival we were told we have put you right at the back of the hotel in the quietest area. As usual with Ibis the room was very clean an functional. In all a great service.

Over priced, dated & disappointing.

We chose to stay for 1 night to break a long journey. Upon arriving we were advised that there was an £11 charge to park in the car park which is hidden in the T’s & C’s and not disclosed before booking. The room was very dated and looked tired, the best part was the shower which was mediocre at best. The bed was too hard and coupled with the heat of the room led to a less than comfortable nights sleep. There was air conditioning of sorts but turning this on was like having an old HGV idling in our room with very minimal air movement and no cooling, to the extent that I suspected that the only part that worked was the bit that made all the noise. As a result I had no choice but to leave it turned off. Our stay included a “Full English” breakfast which was also disappointing. The bacon had been cooked in an oven and was rock hard and bone dry, the sausages were also cooked in an oven were also dry. The scrambled egg was over microwaved, dry and rubbery. There were also no mushrooms present with our “full English” and given the size of the plate (which wasn’t that big) the size of the breakfast was pitiful, not even what I would consider a child’s portion. 1 sausage, 1 slice of bacon, 1 hash brown, some baked beans, a spoonful of scrambled egg and half a tomato. The portion couldn’t have been smaller. The toaster was a domestic toaster and not a commercial one and as a result was not up to the task it was given. After waiting for 5 minutes I gave up and settled on having warmed bread instead of toast to put my jam on. Choice of yoghurt was plain or plain. The fruit juice was ok but it doesn’t take much to tip a carton into a jug and the coffee was good but again this was done by a machine that only needs refilling when empty. I will not be staying again and most certainly not be recommending IBIS to anyone as a quality place to stay.

We had a awful time here while having dinner and drinks, being called a racist by a manager (george) and then later being called racist again by the same person, We are not racist and ruined the whole stay before our holiday. I will never stay here again and never stay in a ibis hotel. We did report this to Agnieszka Letka she was very apologetic but it was to late.

Ive stayed here quiie a few times before. Good value for money,friendly ,helpful staff and a good location for either the airport or Luton . The food is also very good if a little bit pricey but for an airport hotel its to be expected.

The room I offered to stay had a cockridge in the bath and almost no soap in the tube. I reported to the reception and they moved me to a different room. Another room was better but there was some hair in the bath which I had to ignore that, this should be proper checked when cleaning.
