Was all good. Room was basic but clean and the bed was really comfortable... The only issues I have which stopped me giving the top score was the fact the room key cards didn't work properly and three times I had to seek help from hotel staff. They told me that the cards often stop working if they're placed near a mobile phone but I made sure they were nowhere close and still they didn't work....also there was a bad smell of drains coming from the bathroom... Apart from that I had a very pleasant stay and like I said, the staff were lovely.

Great for getting to the airport early in the morning however, waiting to check in so that people can get a pint of Stella is a pain in the backside. What is also a pain, but more in the back, is the 2 inch topper of foam I experienced on the bed! I like a firm mattress but doesn’t a topper go on top of one?! One great feature is having the plug inaccessible from the bed, it made sure I got out of bed to stop my alarm - thankful for this as it stopped me snoozing and potentially missing my flight. Sufficed to say, not the best nights rest but about as close as you’ll get (is it worth twice as much as my flight? I’m not sure…).

Was pretty poor the bar area was not working upon arriaval as the systems were down, whatever that means, whhat systems need to be operational to serve a drink, take cash!! poor family in front of us been travelling all day just wanted a coffee and a drink for the kids but couldnt.. also we had three rooms booked for our party, all twins, to find out there were no twins left available and so double beds had to be shared amongst us, this is not acceptable when we booked whhy were they available at the time.... they know how many rooms they have why double book when money is already taken! no outlets near the beds either to charge your phone as well
