Hotel is in a very busy city area Room with window open was very noisy Once closed it was fine Great convenient location Rooms basic but we just needed a shower and bed, very clean Staff very welcoming

Booked as location central, but closer to walk to Ashton Gate Stadium for concert. Room was basic but clean. Water in room with the hot weather nice touch. No air con downside & only 1 pillow each below standard I would expect. Only really negative experience was when we used the bar, staff were not very friendly & badly organised as most drinks on tap had run out. (Example of a pint of Stella was poured incorrectly for a customer, bar staff then tipped it away & next customer wanted a pint of Stella so then told had run out!). I’m still waiting for my deposit to be released back to my current account also, taken swiftly but 3-5 days to return 😕

I have stayed at the ibis bristol over 35 times in the last 15 months for business. I had to reschedule my stay this week but your staff refused to do so although i suggested to cover price difference on the basis that the booking was not flexible. I could not believe it!!! I will avoid staying with you in the future. That’s it! Actually my employer informed me that we have a deal with The Bristol Hotel including breakfast and parking which will work out to be cheaper than staying at the ibis. I don’t know how many millions of £ Accor spends on marketing each year to acquire new clients and you let loyal client go by refusing to reschedule a booking even when they will cover the cost! Mediocre
