OK, just a bit tired. The dressing table/desk had heavy water damage and the veneers were lifting on the edges exposing the chipboard. the strange metal shelf thing under the tv fell off. The mattress seemed to not have a sheet on just a mattress topper. The bathroom felt a bit rogue almost like you were on an overnight cross channel ferry. It was not a room you would want to spend any time in.

Great central location, room quiet and comfortable, although bathroom basic and hot and cold taps were switched around so I scaled my hand; I did report this and was assured it would be looked into (rm 247 in Exeter).

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location. Rooms old, need better cleaning (there was some sticky stuff on both spoons), rooms on darker side, would have appreciated to have also a sheer curtain for some privacy (there was scaffolding next to my window). Bed was really comfortable.

The hotel was well located and the staff was nice. My room, though, was never properly clean. I could still see hair on the floor, the bathroom not being wiped and the bed on day wasn't even done. At some point they changed my pillows for something firmer without me asking. I have pictures of what I'm saying.

Good location and good breakfast. That's all. The worst Ibis. The bathroom was disgusting. The sink seemed never to have been cleaned. The bad smell came out from the drain area and I had to closes it when did not use it. The ventilation fan was not working in the bathroom. I have requested that it be fixed, but no update. Shower has bad drain too. The floor of the shower needs more deep cleaning.Every corner/floor was dusty from night 1. I had to wipe the desk/chair surface to remove the stain. Ball of dust under the bed. That dust was cleaned after the request. The floor of the dining area was so sticky. It gets more stickier day by day.! I checked google reviews. All the same complains but no one seems checked the reviews. That’s why I wrote review on official website.

After 4 hours of deep sleep the noisy lavatory cistern kept me awake for the rest of the night with it's constant emptying and refilling. Your reception desk did say, as a gesture of goodwill, they would refund 50% of the cost of the room. The cistern aside, the staff were great, and it was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was good.

I frequently stay here when attending work meetings. Always reliable, comfortable and convenient for the office. Good breakfast included. Only concern is that rooms can be noisy at night but given the harbourside location, that isn't surprising.

Your iron stained my shirt and had to go to the hotel 10 mins down the road to iron my shirts The shower drain is also blocked.

Had an issue with my card the previous night before check in, couldn't pay for my room on arrival, I'm guessing they were a cashless hotel also, so they helped me out and were able to send a payment link to a friend of mine so they could pay and got me checked in early as I'm a member with Accor. Checkout was midday on Sunday which is also great, they kept my bag in a luggage room because my flight wasn't until late evening.
