Nightmare noise on weekend

Comfortable room zero sleep as sandwiched between loads of nightclubs Zero soundproofing honestly if u want sleep and you booking on a weekend don't book here £120 for a vibrating room is not on ! They need to update it and spend money on soundproofing Plus side bed comfy, staff very friendly and helpful

Location is excellent. Right in the centre of Birmingham , next to Chinatown. Easy to access by car from the motorway network. Parking below the building but tricky to enter. Great value for £15 for 24 hours. The hotel is tidy enough with the usual small rooms typical for any city centre hotel. Room facilities (we had a second floor room window view of the roof tops it was quiet). A small desk and chair was provided with a wall mounted TV, although the desk could do with being upgraded as it was chipped. There were also tea and instant coffee making facilities. The bed was comfortable. The downstairs communal area is nice with a few wall mounted TVs, nice bar, pool and games tables. Breakfast is in the relaxation/bar area and was great. A cold meat/cheese offering with croissant etc together with a full cooked breakfast with sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs (other eggs cooked to your order too), mushrooms, cooked tomatoes, baked beans and some hash browns in the corner too. Plenty of juices, tea and a ground coffee machine provided more beverages. Good value and whilst there, we booked another stay for later in the year👍 Radu helped us with breakfast in the morning which was helpful Read less

Location is 5 star. Right in the centre of Birmingham , next to Chinatown. Easy to access by car from the motorway network. Parking below the building but tricky to access in a SUV or estate car, a pickup truck won’t fit in here. The hotel is tidy enough with the usual small rooms typical for any city centre hotel. Room facilities (we had a second floor room window view of the roof of a single story building but it was quiet) were good with plenty of UK plug sockets and a USB too. A small desk and chair was provided with a wall mounted TV. There were also tea and instant coffee making facilities. The bed was comfortable enough but pillow was a tad firm for my liking. The ground floor bar and relaxing communal area is nice with a few wall mounted TVs, nice bar, pool and games tables. Breakfast is in the relaxation/bar area and was great. A cold meat/cheese offering with croissant etc together with a full cooked breakfast with sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs (other eggs cooked to your order too), mushrooms, cooked tomatoes, baked beans and some hash browns in the corner too. Plenty of juices, tea and a ground coffee machine provided more beverages. Good value and whilst there, we booked another stay for later in the year👍 Radu helped us with breakfast in the morning and feedback cards, which was helpful, thx.

Absolutely a delightful. Ingrid- you were the star of the show. You are kind and you are efficient. Stay put girl ! An asset to this unit.Rooms good. Breakfast good - could do with a little fresh salad and more fruits. But still good. The bar rocked in the evening. Enjoyed my 3 night stay here.

Great location but disappointing

Staff friendly but rooms tired and grubby round the edges - could do with a deep clean. Broken edges on two of tables. Matress old and knackered with a mattress topper on top and only two very flat lumpy pillows. Luckily I was on my own so could use both. Breakfast was disappointing on the Monday morning the Scrambled eggs were grey, there were no mushrooms and the hash browns were stone cold. Pastries were stale. Not worth the high price. Great location.
