It’s my worst experience at an Ibis hotel or an All Accor hotel so far. I’m a Platinum member and had never seen this before. The queue to check in and get the room key was very long (approximately 10 people), despite having checked in online in advance and informed that I was arriving early on the day. I’m sure this particular branch of Ibis’s under-staffed. I knew I had a welcome drink, but this wasn’t offered by the people at the reception desk (or at any point during my stay).

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and please accept our sincere apologies for the experience you had during your recent stay. As a valued ALL Accor Platinum member, we truly appreciate your loyalty, and it’s disappointing to hear that we fell short of your expectations. We’re sorry for the long wait at check-in. While we do our best to keep the process quick and smooth, queues can sometimes form around 3 PM, which is our busiest time, especially on high-occupancy days. We understand how frustrating this can be, particularly when you’ve checked in online and informed us of your early arrival. Regarding the welcome drink, we regret that this wasn’t offered during your stay. As a Platinum member, your voucher is available on the ALL Accor app, but if you had mentioned it to our team, they would have been more than happy to assist and ensure you enjoyed your complimentary drink. We’ll make sure to remind our staff to be more proactive in offering this benefit. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’ll use it to improve our service. We were greeted by friendly staff who were helpful. The room was clean and a fair size, however there was very little space to put bags. More hangers for clothed would have been appreciated. We came to attend a conference, so wanted to look smart but not having sufficient space to hang clothes was unfortunate. We appreciated having tea making facilities in the room. It was nice to have a bar on site. The breakfast was good except for the powdered scrambled egg and powdered OJ. This is a good location and I would recommend this hotel.

Our overall stay was ok. The receptionists were lovely and very efficient. The rooms were dated and require some updating. The location was convenient to the station and the customer.

First impressions at reception and check in were great, staff supportive and knowledgeable. All changed when accessing my room, the key card did not work initially then the quality of the room was below the standard I was expecting. Everything was worn and tired within the room. I do not intend to stay at this hotel again unless a room refurbishment programme has been undertaken and serious review and active steps to improve the food quality has been actioned.
