I booked a family room. after the first night i found out the hard way that all the family rooms back onto a courtyard that is full of pubs and nightclubs thst plsy music until very late into the morning.

Poor value - budget hotels have better standards but too expensive. I will not be back

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff very friendly and courteous. Breakfast is more than sufficient and good. The location is great: loads of good restaurants within walking distance. Train station and major shopping just a few minutes away.

Good location, clean & comfy rooms, breakfast had a good selection of foods, all hot & fresh. Cleaning staff polite & helpful. Only downside was checking in, apart from a person serving in the bar area, there was no one else around for a good 10minute, by this time approx 15 people waiting to check in, when the only person serving at the bar came over she was helpful, and tried to get people checked in as quickly as possible but rooms where not ready, after another wait of 15minutes we where finally allocated a room. We enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again.

The person drilling in a nearby room in the afternoon and the beat from the nearby nightclub, until 3am, made for a very unsatisfactory stay and would not recommend at all.

The hotel is very centrally located, we used the underground car park which at £15 overnight we thought a very good price. There is not a Check in desk, but plenty of very helpful staff to sort you out with their smart phones, very modern! Our room was also modern and well equipped, it was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. We had a very good breakfast, well stocked, with a good choice of hot and cold food. All the staff we met were great but a special shout out to Ingrid the morning breakfast lady, so chatty, helpful and made everyone feel so welcome. All in all a great stay at a great price.

Clean and reasonably comfy but old air con system needs ripping out

Generally fine - staff were really nice. The trouble was the air con unit which was noisy even when turned off at the wall. Would make noise for a few hours then stop for a bit then start again - typically just as you're nodding off, finally! I moved rooms but both were the same. If it weren't for that I'd stay here again.

Overpriced for a small, very basic room. Room was adequate for an overnight stay but I would not want to stay for longer. It is also next to a nightclub, so expect some noise into the early hours. It has no reception, so check in is via some wandering assistants, which is very strange, and they use Whatapp as a method of contact if you have a problem. This did not feel very reassuring. The only plus was the size of the towels - very few hotels have bath sheets, and the smaller towel was also larger than a regular hotel hand towel.
