Great location, lovely reception service, nice atmosphere. Rooms were a good size and good facilities. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the cleaning team. Beyond loud in the corridors in the morning, loud talking, banging crashing. We had 1 night stay and were awoken at 10.30 for rokm cleaning yet check out was 12pm and we were further disturbed after being repeadly woken from 9am onwards. The cleaning team need to be mindfull and considerate of guests. We checked out early as we awoken and unable to relax.

The hotel itself is in a good location and reasonable value for money. But the front desk told me to park at the parking lot over the road without exploring that it was not their normal hotel parking and would cost me double. Very disappointed as it added a sour taste to the end of a good weekend.

room was very tired and in need of some refurbishment. bathroom functional but again very basic and tired.

Very friendly and helpful reception and breakfast staff. Excellent breakfast with good quality food for any heart's desire in the morning. The location of the hotel is excellent, 5 minutes walk from New Street Station and 7 mins from the excellent and huge Christmas market. Easy access to the rest of the city centre all by foot, but Tram Stop also nearby. Slightly convoluted to find by car and underground car park is too small for the size of the hotel. But we were lucky to get a space and paid 30£ for 48 hrs which is reasonable for that city centre location. Bedrooms are standard IBIS, clean and warm and comfi.
