The hotel only accepted emergency workers and was subject to the usual (anti) Covid restrictions. Given the above I believe that the staff tried their hardest to provide service.

Hotel was nice amd well kept, but the room was very basic and to small the bathroom was very tiet far to small and cramped, I wouldn't stay here again.

Good location, bed was very uncomfortable and seemed to be missing mattress, only a mattress topper was there. Room was dirty and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned especially round the edges.

The reception guys spent too long cross examining me on why I was staying there. The letter describing my professional course seemed not to be sufficient for them. Hooray the windows opened, I liked that. Comfy bed, great shower but no coat hangers. There were only two tea bags issued, perhaps you could have the option of ordering which drink ancillaries you want to save waste. Check out was too long instead of just throwing the card in the box.

Good morning staff especially Rob, issue with parking was told by night staff there was no car park and was told to park in bullring. Which there wasn’t any discount.

The hotel is in an excellent location, parking an added bonus and competitively priced however the cleanliness of the room was appalling and not enough staff around on checkout.

The room is small and very little room for clothes to be hung in the hanger space, but it is functional and it is very clean as i have found all Ibis hotels to be. Good internet signal. The staff are very helpful and polite, but it would be nice if they could check to notice beforehand if you are a gold/platinum memeber instead of having to remind them.

Noisy And no sleep - contacted reception via their whatsapp service as per posters in room to report neighbouring rooms shouting and slamming doors - they told us they were aware so that e requested security again and nothing changed - shortly we requested them again and the noisy ‘neighbour’ basically talked over security then continued to be noisy. Reception shrugged their shoulders in the morning when we complained about the poor stay and the online complaint system has resulted in no response. I wouldn’t stay again and I wouldn’t recommend.

I was very happy with location and the hotel generally and the price was very low likely due to Covid severely impacting demand. One thing I was unhappy with was the way a request from a lady in front of me in the queue asking for milk the next day for her baby. The lady was offered that if should bought breakfast for her baby at 5.95 GBP. That was ridiculous to charge 6 pounds for some milk, We asked for milk when our daughter was a baby and was never treated like that, I showed the lady where a local Supermarket was as an altermative.

We had a great stay, and we want thank you for making our stay most comfortable . Especially thanks to Stefan and Monica from the reception who manage to put a smile on our face and for the engagement that they managed to quickly resolve our little problems with the shower in the bathroom , during the 2 weeks isolation. We'll recommend Ibis to our friends and will comeback if we need to stay again.

Staff were wonderful and all of them were very helpful and cheerful Restaurant menu in the evening was dismal verging on ghastly. Even with the Covid situation other places managing to produce more varied and interesting food. However Breakfast was very good - freshly cooked and tasty. If you can produce good food in the morning - why not in the evening? Room was very clean and ok

I was demanded to pay a £50.00 'Incidentals' cover charge in ONLY CASH, which was not stated anywhere in the terms of the booking via the company I used. I was spoken to like I had never seen a hotel before. I arrived at 2250 and left at 0800 the next morning. It would totally put me off as to how I was spoken too. The room was far too hot, with the air conditioning unit not operational. I would like a full refund for this stay!

Disturbing noises whole night

Was unable to sleep peacefully because of some continues machine or drilling noises coming throughout the time of check out. Awful. I believe haven't slept more than 40 minutes in whole time.
