We had a great stay. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially Rob who went out of his way to find us a good Indian restaurant! Comfy large bed, extremely clean room and parking underneath the hotel was very convenient and a good price.

The hotel is in a good space near the train station and for a reasonable price. The main issue was the sounds coming from nearby venues that the windows did not help to quieten down. Found it difficult to sleep until the music stopped. This was a Sunday night. Spoke to a staff member in the morning about the issue, who offered me a complimentary coffee as i was rushing out. Kind to offer, but it would be better to install more appropriate sound-proofing in the rooms close to busy music venues.

We came to stay for a weekend away for my husbands birthday. We had a great stay, good location to the shopping centre to go shopping in the day & close to the mailbox for drinks at night. Then we came back and chilled in the hotel room on a very comfy bed.

We went to see a show at the Hippodrome so chose the Ibis as it's nearby. We have never stayed in an Ibis before and were a bit worried that it would be too basic, or too noisy, but it was perfect. Comfy, clean and very cheap. I wouldn't recommend the food but there are plenty of eateries just outside the hotel.

Staff were very friendly. Room was smaller than I'd anticipated but very clean and bathroom was spotless with a good shower and pleasantly scented shower gel. After reading reviews I had requested a quiet room and it was indeed very quiet as overlooked the roof of the building and rear of other buildings. Overall a good stay.

The staff were very polite and helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. Ingrid went the extra mile, as I am disabled, she helped me so much during breakfast. I didn’t even have to ask, she was there. The bedrooms are on the small side, but were very clean. They supplied plenty of clean towels, and re stocked the tea and coffee in the room. We were very happy with our stay, and will definitely return in the near future. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay.

Hotel and service good. Evening meal AWFUL and expensive. Hamburger very dry, no tomato as per menu until we asked. salad leaves dry and tasteless.

Good location close to New Street & Moor Street sations, the Bullring, O2 Academy and Chinatown. Good size room, comfortable bed. Good lighting; kettle, coffee and tea provided. Limited hanging space for clothes but adequate for a short stay. Small toilet/shower room with good lighting and decent shower. Only drawback was the shower door which needs a rethink. Wifi was good enough to stream video.

I appreciate this is a budget hotel but felt the initial impression was poor with no welcoming features. The random staff ( they just appeared from nowhere) were helpful and pleasant . The room and en-suite were clean and although basic were suitable enough. The eating area (I couldn't call it a restaurant as advertised) was like a transport cafe. Again the staff were pleasant and helpful but as a Coeliac I needed a gluten free meal and there was a VERY LIMITED choice. In fact there wasn't a choice of main meals as only one item was gluten free. As usual the vegans and vegetarians were catered for. Theirs is a life style choice, gluten free is a medical necessity. Breakfast was good value and there was enough gluten free food on offer to be acceptable. Again on leaving the staff were pleasant and obliging.

the heater / ac in my room was very loud despite my attempts to turn it off. Not a great nights sleep unfortunately

There is a nightclub across the road from the hotel. If your room is on that side of the hotel all you hear until 2 am, when the club closes is the bass from the music. The hotel is aware or this issue because they have fitted secondary glazing inside the window, but it is completely ineffective.

booked online came in swiped my debit card and in to my rrom never felt like this before ibis has made it simple to check in and out over all the bed is comfy and had a good night sleep the staff are very freindly and always smilling and happy to assist you in any reqirments i was also given an iphone charger when i ask for it it i cant remmeber the name of the lady but thank you for that extra touch see you soon when in birmingham

The location was perfect, near the train station and bull ring amongst other key locations in Birmingham, all about 10 min walking distance. The value for money was excellent for being in the city centre and I also loved that check out was not at 10 or 11 but 12. So we could have a late night but still have a good bit of time to relax in the morning. To our surprise as we went for valentines we were asked if we would like a valentines room for no extra cost so we thought why not, not knowing what to expect. To our delight the room was beautifully presented with petals, swan shaped towels, balloons, little bottle of rose, lindt d'or and ferrero rocher chocolate. They even left a lovely valentines card making us feel very welcome and made the stay that much more special. Thank you
