All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the offer to opt out cleaning in exchange of bar vouchers was super nice! Only downside is that room looked quite dated and could do with some renovations, like the heating/cooling unit which was too loud, or having a smart TV. Overall, we had a great stay and, as a hotel worker myself, I would like to highlight reception's and housekeeping's great job, which were working over New Years with a smile on their faces at all times! :)

The hotel is ideally located in the city with theatres, bars, restaurants and clubs within a stones throw. Reception is well presented. But the bedroom we had was tired - a hard school type chair to sit on (complete with chips), a wall hung TV that had seen better days, a slightly sagging mattress, skirting board coming away from the walls in places. None of the above are worthy of a complaint individually but combined they really do detract from what could (and should) be an excellent guest experience.
