The hotel was fine for a place to rest yoir head, just a short walk from the train station. The rooms are slightly dated and I found there was a leak from the shower in my room which had created mould on the floor.

Nice hotel, nice room, great location but unfortunately spoilt by noisy dogs 🐕 in the next room.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and I’m really sorry to hear that your stay was disturbed by noise from nearby dogs. I completely understand how frustrating that must have been, especially when you were expecting a peaceful and relaxing visit. The weekend of your stay coincided with Crufts, the world’s largest and most renowned dog show, which brings an exceptionally high number of dogs and owners into Birmingham every year. This naturally leads to more pets in the hotel than usual, and while we do our very best to manage the situation, the behaviour of the dogs in the rooms is unfortunately outside of our direct control. Regarding the response you received, I’m sorry if it came across as dismissive — that certainly wasn’t our intention. We strive to show understanding and care in all interactions, and your comment helps us improve how we communicate during exceptionally busy events.
