Very friendly and helpful reception and breakfast staff. Excellent breakfast with good quality food for any heart's desire in the morning. The location of the hotel is excellent, 5 minutes walk from New Street Station and 7 mins from the excellent and huge Christmas market. Easy access to the rest of the city centre all by foot, but Tram Stop also nearby. Slightly convoluted to find by car and underground car park is too small for the size of the hotel. But we were lucky to get a space and paid 30£ for 48 hrs which is reasonable for that city centre location. Bedrooms are standard IBIS, clean and warm and comfi.

We went to watch the ballet at the hippodrome theatre and visit the Christmas markets, the theatre was a minute walk away, if that, the markets about 10 minutes. Parking was a great plus, £15 for 24 hours however it’s small so we were lucky to get a space. The only downside really was the temperature, it was so ridiculously hot in our rooms, I booked two rooms and even with the windows open as far as they went and the air conditioning on it was unbearably warm in both, I’m glad we were only staying for one night. Other than that the rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfy, and the staff were extremely helpful and approachable.

lovely reception and bar area. Reception staff were miserable, almost as miserable as the bloody room we were given! Light switches hanging out of wall, speakers blown on Tv, black mould in shower. Wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.
