Great location. Easy walk from train station, and easy walk into city centre. Room was very clean. Liked the funky decor. We were at the back, nice outlook onto trees and gardens. Liked we could open the window to let fresh air in. Receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Well located for the rail station - easy walk into the city, also via the city wall walk at Micklegate Bar. Staff very pleasant, room comfortable and breakfast buffet varied and good. Better than some than other chain hotels recently stayed in!

Pleasant hotel, nice location. 3rd floor room, shower was barely a trickle not enough to properly clean yourself. Also large damp patch in carpet. No staff on reception when I went past at breakfast & check-out so was not able to report on the day.
