Very kind staff, good York position and good facilities which made a pleasant stay. I did have to point out a broken fridge unit in my room (mdf unit had slipped, so door wouldnt close properly. I also feel that the rooms need checking a bit more as mine did need some decor attention, my second duvet cover had a hole in it too although very clean. Restaurant breakfast was superb and an evening meal (with allergy taken into consideration) very enjoyable. Would stay again.

Enjoyed our brief stop for a night at York. Friendly staff. Happy to recommend eating places even for our next stop in Sheffield. Efficient checkin. Maybe a slight negative us that the hotel is dated now and us just a bit out of the city area requiring at least a 25 min walk.
