Our Swimming Pool & Sauna opened in June 2024. Overlooking the idyllic banks of the River Foss, guests can enjoy a 4-Star, family-friendly stay at our Novotel York Centre hotel. Situated close to the historical City walls, the hotel is perfectly located for exploring countless cultural offerings. Within a mile of York Minster and York railway station and car parking on site from £19.00 per night we are ideally situated and equipped to look after both leisure and business guests all year round. Spending a weekend at the races? We are a ten minute drive from York Racecourse and an even shorter walk from the Barbican Theatre. Making us great base to enjoy the attractions, events and history that York has to offer.

Regarding the LED light in the room, this is the indicator light on the smoke detector, which is a mandatory safety device required for the protection of all guests. While we understand that some guests may find the light noticeable in a dark room, it cannot be disabled due to safety regulations.
