This is a ‘go to’ hotel when working in York. The hotel is within walking distance of the City Centre and has parking onsite site. Rooms are clean and tidy and as a solo female traveller I feel safe in this hotel. Breakfast is served buffet style with a range of choices for customers / guests. Check in was busy and I felt more staff could have been helping customers when they arrived at the hotel. Would happily recommend a stay at the Novotel. Very competitive prices for York

Central location, really modern, spacious rooms, breakfast choice was brilliant and the pool was an added bonus. Would highly recommend.

The room was located in a quiet area of the building as requested and the staff were professional and helpful throughout the stay. Quick and easy to check in and book a swim for the following morning.

My stay at Novotel York Centre was excellent. The hotel is beautifully located by the canal, offering a calm and pleasant setting, while still being only a short walk from The Shambles. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the hotel is genuinely dog-friendly, which was a real plus. The swimming pool was warm and inviting, the staff were consistently helpful and welcoming, and breakfast was outstanding, with an impressive range of options to suit all tastes.
