The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, the food service was quick, and the food was of good quality. The shower head needs adjusting as the angle is incorrect, making it difficult to shower without bumping into the wall to get water all over the body. The waiting staff were efficient with food service, but failed at checking if the customer needed the bill afterwards and were stood around talking when I was waiting to recieve the bill.

This was a repeat visit to an hotel we used four or five years ago. Decor is somewhat dated but not a concern to me as cleanliness of room and public areas is very good. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was very good, with not too much of each item put out at once, but replenished as required.

The Reception staff are the only ones who make this hotel. It is incredibly tired and tatty with threadbare carpet in the room and corridors. We upgraded to a privilege room but realistically this meant nothing apart from having a Coffee Pod machine. The tiny fridge worked intermittently, was filthy inside as the racks were mouldy. There was no safe to the room and the furniture was dark, oversized and too much of it. If the TV had been wall mounted you could’ve removed a useless table and made the room more roomy. You couldn’t open the window more than 6 inches which was behind a curtain so no fresh air and no A/C. The shower leaked so that the bathroom floor was soaked every time and also the bottom of the bathroom door had the veneer all lifted due to the leaks and water spray which due to poor design couldn’t be avoided. Breakfast is sparse with a poor selection and the same day in day out.
