I'M Gold member of Accor, and I have to say this was the worst experience I have ever had to endure at any hotel. Disgusting room with bed bugs. I have been bitten everywhere and I'm having considerable pain and discomfort. Taking LEGAL advice!!!

Confusing Postcode for Hotel/Room not Ready/Parking

Set the Sat-Nav using the hotel postcode and arrived at the hotel only to find out we were at the wrong IBIS hotel. We had arrived at IBIB Budget and we were booked into IBIS Red a few minutes drive away. When we arrived at the correct location and mentioned this we were told that both hotels have the same postcode and other guests had had the same problem. As both hotels are on different roads then surely they should have different postcodes? We were then told that our room wasn't ready for our 3pm check-in as it hadn't been cleaned yet. The receptionist spoke to the cleaning staff and were told it would be another 15-20 minutes before we could check-in. Having said that the room smelt nice and fresh when we entered the room at 3:20pm. The room was nice, bright and spacious. There was one pillow on each of the single beds but there was only one extra spare pillow in the room so we had to ask the receptionist for another one. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and fresh as well as being well stocked. Only issue was there was no lock on the door. With regards to the breakfast some of the hot dishes (beans, scrambled egg, tomatoes etc) were empty and we had to keep asking staff to top them up. The toaster wasn't working properly and only toasted on one side so it took ages to toast. The staff didn't know how the toaster worked and said they were awaiting a new one. There were no small plates to put the toast on so we had to use a bowl which made it awkward. Paying £8.00 for parking was a bit expensive considering other hotels we have stayed at in London offer free parking for disabled guests. In our opinion this may have been a reason why the very narrow approach road to the hotel was full of parked cars which made it difficult to drive to the entrance. The hotel was really nice and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would consider staying there again.
