Our room wasn’t ready till about 5.45pm it was supposed to be ready at 3pm, which made us late getting to a concert we had tickets for, we needed to have a shower and change before we went, the shower screen leaked all over the bathroom floor wetting my friends outfit she was due to wear for the evening, luckily she had something else to wear. The air cooling didn’t work making the room very warm and stuffy, it was a very hot day. I have stayed in Ibis hotels before this is why I booked it.

We have offered an alternative accommodation in one of our sister hotels which is a 4 star property and was 15 minutes away from our hotel including a cab but unfortunately this has been turned down by the guest as they felt that it is safe to be in the hotel and wait rather than moving to a different location.
