Warm welcome from reception team and all explained clearly. Only problem was the lift being out of service and our room on 1st floor, being disabled with a difficulty in walking made it not so easy for me.

Excellent small/medium Ibis hotel conveniently situated next to the North Circular Road and with walkable access to Barking Abbey grounds and town centre. There is a car park with gated access but even with a discount, hotel guests still must pay £10 per night. The hotel itself has a very pleasant and spacious reception and café/bar area, with outdoor seating available for when the weather allows. The rooms are of standard Ibis design but quite a few are on the ground floor for those who prefer this. The breakfast was as good as any I have had at Ibis hotels, which is a high bar as their breakfasts are consistently better than those in most budget hotel chain, and the value for money was better than most places in London boroughs. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. I could not have wished for a better experience for a one night stopover.
