Check in was effortless. Price brill. Room clean and comfortable for price. Good pretty dodgy. Chicken wings like a bad day at KFC. But location perfect. Will be back but will eat somewhere else. Bat great and fun atmosphere.

The room we were given was obviously a disabled room and was on the 5th floor. It was adequate for the one night that we were going to be there. The worst thing was that there wasn't any tea/coffee making facilities in the room. At 3am we had to take the lift to the first floor and find a little room to make ourselves a cup of tea. There wasn't any signs to tell us where this room was located!

The room was clean, and the bed comfy but you need to put some electric/chargimg outlets next to the bed, and put a plug socket next to the full length mirror so women can see what they’re doing when drying their hair. The only socket available was by the tv, too far away from the mirror.

I booked a twin and got a double.

We were woken at 2am by an extremely loud fire alarm in our room - gave us quite a shock. The fire notice on our door was too small and blurred to be legible, so we went down 8 flights of stairs to the front of the building along with everyone else. No fire brigade came, no member of staff appeared and no announcement was made. When the alarm stopped the crowd queued for the lifts to get back to their rooms. Ok, perhaps not the hotel’s fault, but a few lessons could be learned.

the fire alarm went off in the early hours of Thursday morning 24 September 2026. the staff were in a total disarray. no plan no coordination. some staff even told guest on the moving down the stairs to an exit, that they can go back to their rooms. no roll call no fire drill procedures done. how did they account for all the guests?? zero apologies, zero compensation for waking everyone up standing at the front door for almost an hour just to have the alarm finally stop and be told we can return to our rooms. In addition. the rooms have cards with QR codes to look up hotel information including the menu for the restaurant. when I got done to the restaurant and started ordering i was met with none of the prices via the QR code aligned to the prices being charged. 40% more expensive for Nachos.. no Belgian waffles an drhe pork ribs.. clear precooked and microwaved before being drowned in sauce, were all more expensive. then the service charges. increased from 5% to 10%. Too add insult to injury as they say.. i had to order at the bar and take my order on a tray to my room and was still charged the 10% service charge.. what Service????
