Unfortunately not great for the money paid £515 for two nights (family room). Upon returning from event at excel we had no power which appreciated is nobody’s fault however it took over an hour for it to be fixed. Phone calls to Reception went unanswered meaning had to take child back down to reception to report. Eventually got to bed at midnight. No offer of alternative room only “just wait in the bar” which with a tired child at nearly midnight nobody wants! Housekeeping poor - tired, old bobbled bed linen and tea/coffee not replenished & cups not replaced leaving our used cups in situ. Disgusting white splashes on bathroom wall opposite toilet (ewwwww) not cleaned leaving me feeling quite sick. Surprised breakfast bit included for £500+ bit I guess kids go free so can’t complain. Service in bar/restaurant poor: sullen waiting staff although food was ok but bar ran out if orange juice at 7pm!

Quick check in and check out, room was good, clean, comfortable and well laid out. Bar and reception area looked festive and well cared for. Staff really friendly and helpful. I will come again. Two improvement items to consider. One coffee machine at breakfast, including hot water? Just a huge queue. Two people tried to print my receipt on check out and neither could manage it. They did try their best. I was sent an emailed version within an hour which was incomplete which I have returned and two days later I still have not got an updated one. It had no value on it - making a receipt a bit pointless.

Booked a double, presented with two singles so after a room change ok. Told they would bring me a bathrobe to use the sauna area. Thankfully with wasn’t necessary, as the one-size-fits-only-tiny-people robe came nowhere near my XL frame. (Fitness room has lockers, so wasn’t necessary anyway) Limited Room-Service food offered and no in room breakfast menu door hangers. Was only staying as Storm Darragh had cancelled my flight out of Heathrow. Would I stay here again… unlikely.
