The hotel was in a great location. The room was quiet and clean but very warm. The layout was odd, it felt as if it had been modified at some point and didn’t really work. The toilet was next to the door, nowhere near the bathroom, so after using the toilet you have to walk back to the bathroom to wash your hands. The room was very hot, the air conditioning did not seem to make any difference. We tried to have the window open but the aircraft noise didn’t make this a practical solution. There was little storage and a shortage of electrical sockets.

The first room had a broken air conditioner. The second room had a faulty power switch—after the lights stayed on for three seconds, the entire room went dark. The front desk didn’t believe us at first and told us to remove the key card after inserting it to get electricity, which made no sense. After several tests, they finally confirmed it was broken, but it still took a long time to arrange a room change, delaying things past the child’s bedtime. The third room appeared fine at first, but no matter what temperature we set on the air conditioning, the room stayed above 24°C. The child was too hot to sleep. Absolutely not recommended.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions; however, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. The room allocated to us, Room 345, had a visibly stained carpet. This is not the first time we have been assigned this particular room, and I am unclear as to why this continues to be the case. Additionally, the location of the room resulted in significant noise disturbance, which made the stay highly uncomfortable. During breakfast, a member of staff repeatedly requested that I leave a review and handed me his card. While I prefer not to mention names, I find it inappropriate to request reviews before any meaningful service has been delivered, and this was quite off-putting. While I have previously enjoyed my stays at this hotel, this experience did not meet expectations, particularly given the cost of £125 per night. I trust this feedback will be taken seriously and used to improve future guest experiences.
